As we all know, in the structure of centrifugal pump, the impeller is the first component that determines the size of water flow and the height of lift. Its working principle is that the high-speed rotating impeller drives the liquid in it to rotate, and then produces centrifugal force. We learned in junior high school physics class that the primary factor that determines the centrifugal force is the radius of rotation. It can be seen that once the impeller of centrifugal pump is cut, that is, the diameter of the impeller is reduced, then the centrifugal force of the liquid inside the impeller will definitely decrease, and the result can only be that the parameters such as the flow rate and head of the pump are reduced, which may cause danger to safety production.
② Frequency conversion energy-saving skills
The main working principle of frequency conversion is to change the frequency of pump-driven motor through frequency conversion, reduce the speed of motor, and achieve the effect of energy saving. Its main uses are: ① The load of the motor changes periodically with the needs of production conditions. Under this working condition, when the production load is reduced, the load of the motor is also reduced. Using frequency conversion technology can reduce the speed of the motor at this time, and then achieve the effect of energy saving. However, if the working condition is relatively stable, the energy-saving rate of frequency conversion skills will drop significantly. (2) It is suitable for some circulating water pump systems, and the planned parameters have a large margin, that is, the so-called "big horse-drawn car". Under this working condition, the frequency of the pump motor is changed by frequency conversion, the rotating speed of the pump is reduced, and the working points of the Q value and the H value of the pump are adjusted, so that the actual flow value of the pump is lower than the extra flow value of the pump, thus achieving the purpose of energy saving.
Centrifugal pump is designed according to the similarity principle of specific speed under the condition of optimal hydraulic characteristics. How many proportions of the hydraulic model of the flow passage of each pump must correspond to its planning parameters Q (flow), H (head) and r/min (speed) one by one before the final power of the pump can occur. Therefore, the hydraulic model and proportion of pump impeller can't change with the change of speed, so the additional speed of the pump is reduced by frequency conversion speed regulation, which further reduces the output flow of the pump, lowers the head of the pump and reduces the actual power of the pump, which is far lower than the original power value of the pump.
If the functional parameters Q and H of the circulating water pump used in the industrial circulating water pump system are not surplus, if the practical parameters Q and H of the pump are reduced by frequency conversion speed regulation, the pump flow reduction value may be too large, the cooling water volume of the system is insufficient, and the water temperature of the cooling water system may rise.
③ Three-dimensional flow skills
The skill of three-dimensional flow is to cut the three-dimensional space inside the impeller infinitely. By analyzing the working points in the impeller wheel, a complete and realistic mathematical model of the internal activities of the impeller is established.
By this method, the analysis of impeller and runner can be done most accurately, and the flow field and pressure distribution of fluid are also closest to reality. Impeller outlet is characterized by jet and wake (vortex), which can be expressed in planning and accounting. Therefore, the planned impeller can also meet the requirements of working conditions well, and the power is obviously improved. However, if the impeller of a general water pump is simply replaced by a three-dimensional flow impeller, its energy-saving effect may not reach the expectation, because under the condition that the pump shell and other parts are now finalized, the water resistance and water loss of all the flowing parts in the water pump can not be changed by the three-dimensional flow impeller alone.
