This semester, I found some answers in the deliberate practice of information technology integration course. Ma Jixing's magic class has built different bridges in my math class, helping me and my students walk from one end to the other step by step, which has benefited a lot.
Build a bridge between students and mathematics.
To build a bridge between students and mathematics is to make students feel the value of mathematics learning, acquire mathematics learning methods, and think with mathematical thinking mode (logical reasoning, etc.). ).
In the process of reasonable time arrangement, how to make guests drink tea as soon as possible contains optimized and overall mathematical ideas, and how to record our thinking process with mathematical language and methods? This is the mystery and value of mathematics.
Task 1: First, let students think independently about the order of doing things and put them into the flow chart; Then the deskmate introduces the pendulum method and calculates the required time; I chose two ways to take photos and upload my vote. The option of 1 is "while boiling water, find tea to wash the teacups", the option of 2 is "in turn", and the option of 3 is in other ways (I am curious about the children who chose three options in class, thinking that they can find tea at the same time when they pick up water, so the students simply analyzed it). I hardly spoke during the whole process. With my own life experience and the help of my peers, students feel the relationship between mathematics and life and can look at the problems in life from the perspective of mathematics.
Task 2:
In the design of task 2, "How to record posture" was inspired by the team. 165438+1October 23rd, I listened to Panther Chen's philosophy and politics class "Looking at Problems from the Perspective of Development". Dr. Wang Xuyi commented that "it is like being in a European and American classroom" and extended an idea: "How to build a bridge for students to experience and reach the classroom?" This is also the origin of the title of my article, haha! Of course, it inspires me to think about how to build a bridge between students and mathematics in every class.
In the past, I would make a simple demonstration and directly tell the students to record it in the form of a flowchart and give it a try. This seems to be efficient, in fact, I cut off the bridge between students and mathematics. Students have no experience, no experience, and don't understand the clear value of flow chart. So I decided to slow down and let the students use their small heads to think about how to record clearly and concisely.
Of course, this task is a bit difficult. Many students frown and think hard, and the exercise books are blank. But at the beginning of the group cooperation, the children were very excited about the debate. I walked in and heard many ideas:
"Can be expressed in letters"? "Bad is bad, then how do you know whether to find tea or wash cups? I can't see clearly, do you want the teacher to correspond again? " (Really distressed the teacher haha)
You can draw and record? "What a bother. This is math class, not art class. Mathematics needs concise records. "
Can you record it in the form? "The form record looks good, but what does it mean to check?"
You can connect with horizontal lines (arrows), which I learned in the Olympic Mathematics? "In the previous calculation, it was indicated that the arrow was used later."
Recording with letters, charts and tables are some methods that students have learned in the past. In this process, students can fully mobilize their own neurons to establish connections, and the students' thinking process itself is the most important gain. Then I randomly selected people to show my work, and the whole class worked together to improve the flow chart.
Other students suggested: 1. Make up the time, so it is more convenient to calculate? 2. How to distinguish between looking for tea leaves and washing teacups, and boiling water can be placed under boiling water more clearly?
Look, Ma Jixing showed the students' colorful ideas in class and built a bridge to mathematics learning. Proper thinking is a bridge. Students feel and discover the charm of mathematics in deep thinking and deep learning. I look forward to the day when my students have keen professional intuition when solving problems.
Build a bridge of peer assistance
Children love math class very much, and my part-time physical education class also asked me to take math class, because the math class includes Ma Jixing's magic class and the "I can talk" voice board. Yes, because there are well-designed group activities and rules in the classroom, there are many generating resources and whimsy, and many bridges of peer help are built.
In the histogram, the first task is to "count the weather in Fuzhou in August in your favorite way". The students put forward the following three ways:
1. Pictographic statistics Figure 2. Simple statistics? 3. Bar chart
Which way do you like best? The data are as follows:
After making friends with Ma Jixing for a semester, the students are full of security, so they put forward real ideas. If you take the form of question and answer, there is a high probability that students will blindly follow the trend and answer "favorite bar chart", and may even answer because it is simple and clear. After seeing such data, I got the students' real thoughts. In the case of less data, simple statistical tables are as concise and clear as data comparison in intuitive presentation.
How to make students realize the advantages of bar chart statistics? You can't rely on teachers to talk, but on experience and students to help each other, so I ask students to find out the advantages and disadvantages of these three statistical methods together. In group cooperation, the students quickly ruled out pictograms. They found that bar charts are "upgraded versions" of pictographic charts, focusing on bar charts and simple statistics. In the face of Xiao Gan's insistence, the students in Xiao Xin have come up with a strange trick (simple statistical tables are the best).
Xiao Xin put it well: "One or two groups look at simple statistics, and three or four groups look at bar charts. First, answer: What is the second least weather in August?" The bar group won, and it is easy to see simple statistics at most, but the penultimate question is not as fast as the "bar". Sure enough, children know children best, and only their cute little brains can think of this trick! The help of my peers played a great role, and I just laughed quietly.
In this unit, Ma Jixing's magic class is a little different. Look, isn't the statistical chart of Ma Jixing a bar chart? And the statistics are all the data of our class. The feedback device is also a companion!
The feedback device helps to collect data quickly. Students are excited when they are investigated themselves!
Yes, the information technology integration course allows peers to interact effectively, and the sparks of thinking between peers constantly collide. In this class, the bridge of peer interaction and mutual assistance can be seen everywhere, as well as language expression and thinking training.
Build a bridge for the growth of teachers and students
This semester, between Class 5 and Ma Jixing, the progress is obvious in both grades and abilities.
Results: At the end of the term, the vocabulary of the fourth grade was just sampled in the district. Compared vertically, Class 5 ranked first in the year and ninth among 250 classes in the whole region, and the level of other classes was basically the same. In horizontal comparison, Class 5 of Chinese random test ranked third in the year, among which the annual ranking of students who failed the Chinese test dropped by one (less than 30 points), but scored 59 points in the math test. It can be seen that the overall level of Class 5 is improving, and there have been some changes in the mid-term exam. But to my surprise, class 5 and 1 in the final exam drove the average scores of other classes.
Ability: It has become a popular course in various disciplines, and most students can take the initiative to think and report on the stage. As soon as I entered the class with a feedback device, my math team leaders began to distribute it in an orderly way. China's team leader gave me a speech card, and the assistant plugged me in. A tacit understanding has been formed between our teachers and students. Facing the uncertainty and creativity in the classroom, students and I take the initiative to participate. With thinking and discussion, 40 minutes passed quickly.
A wonderful episode:
I want to try to raise my hand. Xiaoxi is somewhat introverted and insecure about math learning. Once, after the group cooperated, she was randomly selected to pick. She was a little nervous when she came to power, and she expressed her group views and won applause. She ran back to her seat with a red face. In the evening, my parents sent me this passage: "Did Xiaoxi speak on stage today? This is the first time! She asked me to set a small goal this week-raise my hand and speak. Thank you for your encouragement! " It is Ma Jixing's magic that makes students move from thinking to active learning.
You prayed for me? ! We have mastered the principles and laws in the calculation class before, so in the calculation, I adopted the strategy of randomly picking teachers to take the stage. Ou Ou bowed his head and prayed nervously with his hands folded, and was drawn. During the presentation on the stage, my peers made many suggestions on writing and expression. He must have looked at me after the adjustment and improvement. I smiled and said, You just prayed not to draw you! Next time we will think more carefully and are not afraid to draw a little! He said, "teacher, I pray to get me!" " "Is this the legendary' sincerity is spirit'? Ha ha! Follow-up: Ou Ou, Zhi Zhi and Tang Xiao also formed an alliance-"How to draw me". I found this note in class. " Press the option three times quickly and you will be drawn! "I'm in distress situation.
The growth of students is my precious wealth. I recorded a reflection and a story. In 2020, I wrote more than 36,000 words online, and a little accumulation is the record of my growth.
Ma Jixing's team gave me a lot of help, so I'm growing. Dr. Wang Xuyi mentioned in the article "Four Things to Do Information Teaching Well" /p/4074bcb03775 in his column "Voice of the King" that "How should teachers adapt to and be familiar with information teaching? I think there are four things that must be done and should always be done, that is, reading, practicing, thinking deeply and writing. " Ma Jixing team expert tutors lead team teachers to do these four things together, build a bridge for our growth, and lead to "student-oriented classroom" step by step.
In the team, we discuss with each other, encourage each other, study courses across disciplines, and grow together. Thank you to every lovely member of the team, and thank you for meeting ~
