It is called "singing numbers" because children have not really understood the meaning of "numbers" and can't really understand the changes of the quantity corresponding to the size of numbers. Children of this age sing from 1 to 100, which is only a mechanical memory, but it is also a necessary process, and it is the first impression of children's logarithm. When children can skillfully sing from 1 to 100, they can introduce the concept of "quantity" in due course. This is a long process, so we can't rush it. As long as one year, as short as three months.
Pay attention to the method of guiding children to sing numbers, and don't force them to learn to sing numbers. This is a big taboo. When children are playing games, parents can take the initiative to count. For example, when children build blocks, parents can praise their children with exaggerated expressions: Wow, the baby has built such a big block. Let me count how many building blocks are used. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,7 ,8, ... Wow, so many, good baby! If the baby builds a building block next time, he can repeat the same singing practice.
