1. Open the spss software, and then switch the interface to variable view. Create observation indicators and types in the edit column. The example in the figure creates two indicators, one as an independent variable and the other as a dependent variable, namely gdd and urbanization level, representing per capita gdp and urbanization level.
2. After the indicators and types are constructed, the data need to be input into spss. Switch to data view, where you can enter data manually or copy or import data from excel.
3. Click Analyze and Regression to perform linear regression analysis on the data.
4. Enter the linear regression setting interface, and set independent variables and dependent variables.
5. After setting the parameters, click "OK", spss will analyze according to the preset, and automatically output the analysis results. The analysis results are shown in the figure. According to the known analysis results, independent variables and dependent variables conform to the linear regression model.
