Li Jianshu, 198 1, graduated from the Department of Mathematics of Zhejiang University, and received a master's degree from Cornell University and a doctorate from Yale University. He used to be a full professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Maryland. At present, he is the head of the Department of Mathematics of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, engaged in the research of number theory and "group representation". 1994 was invited to give a 45-minute invitation report at the International Congress of Mathematicians and became an internationally renowned mathematician.
