Huazhong Mathematical Modeling Alliance is a competition initiated and organized by Huazhong Mathematical Modeling Association Alliance with the support of Hubei Mathematical Modeling Organizing Committee and Wuhan Institute of Industrial and Applied Mathematics. The purpose of the contest is to "improve the ability of mathematical modeling in Central China and develop and expand the cause of mathematical modeling". Its purpose is to improve students' comprehensive ability to analyze problems independently, build mathematical models, simulate and solve practical problems with computer technology, and write papers, so as to improve college students' mathematical modeling level and strengthen the mathematical modeling ability of colleges and universities. At the same time, I also hope to promote the continuous development of mathematical modeling, improve students' enthusiasm, effectively combine learning with application, and create greater social value.

The mathematical modeling associations of six universities in Wuhan (Huazhong Normal University, Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Huazhong Agricultural University and Wuhan University of Technology) formed the Huazhong Mathematical Modeling Association Alliance, and organized and planned this large-scale discipline competition-"The First Huazhong Mathematical Modeling Invitational Tournament" in May 2008. I want to show the overall level of Hubei mathematical model through this academic activity.

In terms of mode, the competition is almost completely modeled after the national mathematical modeling competition for college students. Just considering that most of the students participating in the competition are Grade 06, lack of experience and short training time, there may be some difficulties in solving the problem. Therefore, after discussion, the association decided to set the competition time as four days. This competition is in the form of communication contest, and the test questions are published on the website of Central China Digital-Analog Alliance at 8: 00 am on May 8. Each participating university shall assist in organizing the registration and arranging the competitions of each school, and collect all the papers before 8: 00 am on May 1 1, and summarize the electronic version to the competition papers mailbox ((hzsmjs@yahoo.cn), and send the paper version to the marking office of Wuhan University. After the final review, the conclusion is an award ceremony and a summary meeting.
