Arthur Benjamin

ArthurBenjamin received his doctorate in mathematics from Johns Hopkins University on 1989. He is currently a professor of mathematics at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, California, USA. In 2000, he was awarded the Hempel Prize by the American Mathematical Association for his outstanding contribution to higher education. In addition, Arthur is a professional magician, and often performs magic in the famous magic club "Magic Castle" in Hollywood, showing his quick calculation skills to audiences all over the world. In 2005, the famous American magazine Reader's Digest called him "the best digital expert in America".
