The diverse plots of the Ten Commandments
The director skillfully interpreted it into ten modern stories set in Poland. In the film, Kislovski sets all kinds of extreme dilemmas for the characters in the story, making them face eternal moral problems and thorny choices, challenging the ancient Ten Commandments.

Episode 1: There is a small lake in front of an eight-year-old barber's house. He likes skating there in winter. However, the thickness of the ice is uncertain. Only when it is thick enough can it be played safely on the ice. Barber's father is a mathematician, proficient in computers, and believes that everything can be calculated by computer equations, such as the thickness of ice on the lake in front of the door. Before Christmas, B.o.B wants to go skating. He turned on the computer according to his father's instructions and asked about the calculation results. The computer said, "I'm ready." So he put on the Christmas skates his father gave him and walked on the ice. When he was playing happily, the ice on the lake cracked and Bob was buried at the bottom of the lake.

Episode 2: For many days, the old doctor found that Vaida, a beautiful young female neighbor, was always wandering in front of her house. After asking, Vaida told the truth. It turned out that her husband was infertile. He had cancer in his early thirties and was a doctor's patient. Vaida thought her husband was going to die. He fell in love with another man and got pregnant, but now it seems that her husband's condition has improved. Her doctor told her that if she had an abortion, she wouldn't get pregnant again. She asked the old doctor whether her husband would die or get better. If he can survive, she would rather have an abortion than let him know that she was hurt by a brief extramarital affair. The doctor was embarrassed and said that he could not diagnose the patient's life and death. A few days later, Vaida went to see the old doctor again. Her abortion period is about to pass, and if the doctor is really not sure that her husband is going to die, she decides to abort the child. The old doctor felt the pain of choice. I couldn't sleep all night. The next day, he stopped Vaida and told a lie. Her husband will die soon. In the end, she didn't have an abortion, and her husband came back to life.

Episode 3: Before Christmas, Janusz and his wife go to church for Christmas Eve Mass. Through the crowd and candlelight, he felt the gaze of his ex-girlfriend Ava. Back home, a warm family reunion is about to begin. At this moment, the doorbell rang and Janusz rushed to open the door. Ava stood outside the snow-covered door and told him that her husband was missing this morning and asked him if he could help him find it. Although Janusz was ambivalent, he agreed and lied to his wife that someone had stolen his car and wanted to look for it at the police station. That night, Janus and Ava searched everywhere for their missing husband, but there was no clue. At dawn, Ava told him the truth. In fact, her husband is not missing at all, but has long separated from her. Living alone for several years, she endured the erosion of loneliness. This year, she made a bet with herself that if Janusz could accompany her on Christmas Eve, she would continue to live. Then she took out two poisons from her pocket and crushed them with her feet. When Janusz came home, he saw his wife curled up on the sofa and sleeping, her head resting on her. The wife woke up, didn't ask anything, just hugged him.

Episode 4: Anka has lived with her father Mike since she was a child. She has never met her mother. Mike reminded Anka not to forget to pay the rent and telephone bill in the drawer before going on a business trip. Anka found a letter for herself in the drawer, with strange handwriting. She opened the letter in the Woods, and there was a white envelope inside, which said, "If anything happens to me, please give it to my daughter Anka." When Mike came home, Anka told him that she had read the suicide note left by her mother, which said that Mike was not her father. They talked a lot that night. Anka said that she has always yearned for Mike, and only with him can she be happy. Mike admits it's hard to see Anka with her boyfriend. Episode 5: Jacek walks aimlessly in the street. He thinks it's tiring to kill a person. His little sister was lively and lovely, and one night she was knocked down by a driver who had just finished drinking with him. Sister's death made Jacek decide to kill for revenge, but he couldn't find a reason to kill. He made things difficult for the owner of the photo studio and abused the teenagers in the toilet. As long as they resisted, he had reason to kill, but they didn't. Finally, he found a driver who refused to take the bus and finally killed him. Jacek's defense lawyer is a young man who just graduated. After listening to the motive for killing, Jacek was puzzled. How difficult it is to judge accidental cases caused by personal temperament with abstract legal knowledge! Jacek was hanged, but the young lawyer despaired of a "just" judicial system.

Episode 6: Tomek, a shy postal worker, has a crush on Magda, a freelance female artist in the opposite building. Every night, his alarm clock will ring at 8: 30, which is the time for her to go home: Tomek "wakes up" at this time, and he is really alive only when he looks at her. Besides, he put a fake money order in her mailbox to take her to the post office. Tomek finally expressed his love to Magda, who promised to date him, and then they returned to her apartment. Afterwards, Magda said to him coldly, "This is your so-called love. Now you can go to the bathroom and clean yourself up. " Tomek committed suicide by cutting her wrist in her bathroom, while Magda, who didn't know it at this time, felt guilty because of her bad attitude just now. When Tomek was in hospital, Magda realized that she had deep feelings for him. She tried to visit him, but failed. Finally, Magda met Tomek at the post office. He said, "I don't spy on you anymore."

Episode 7: Meika fell in love with Boyle, an art teacher, when she was in middle school, but the teacher abandoned her after she got pregnant. For the sake of her future, the mother said that she would report her child as her own. A few years later, Meika graduated from university, and her daughter (obviously her sister) Ma Jia was six years old. She wants her daughter back, but her mother doesn't agree. Mei Yika felt that her mother said it was good for her, but she actually stole the child, so she took the opportunity of the two-child party to "steal" Ma Jia. The husband of the couple has passed away, and his wife Sophia is a philosophy professor at the university. Facing Elizabeth, Sophia described the guilt that had tortured her for many years. Elizabeth found a tailor. He avoided talking about the past and asked her what clothes she made.

Episode 9: Lomark tells his wife Han Jia that she has been diagnosed with impotence and suggests that she divorce herself. Han Jia said: "The love between husband and wife is not between the legs, but in the heart." But because of fear, Lomark still has doubts. One day, he was a little nervous when he heard his wife's voice on the phone, so he began to monitor her phone and found that she was secretly dating young Spree. Romeike followed Han Jia and listened to their painful sex. Later, he even peeked in the closet. On that day, Han Jia proposed to break up with Spree and stop cheating on her husband. After Spree left, Han Jia inadvertently found her husband's eyes in the dark and left angrily. In desperation, Lomark decided to commit suicide. ...

Episode 10: This is the only humorous story in the Ten Commandments. Arthur and Jesse came back after receiving the news of their father's death. This legacy is his father's favorite pile of stamps. The two brothers showed no interest in these colorful pieces of paper and decided to sell them. At the auction house, the boss told them that these stamps were valuable, and the two brothers suddenly became excited. They gave up their other affairs and concentrated on protecting this property. They installed an alarm for collection room, put a fence on the window, and bought a German shepherd to guard it. My father had been looking for a set of blue, yellow and red spaceship stamps before he died, but he never found the red spaceship. With their father's enthusiasm, the two brothers inquired about the whereabouts of the stamp and finally learned that it was in the hands of a stamp dealer. But the stamp dealer offered not to sell it unless he could make his sick daughter suffer from kidney disease. Arthur gritted his teeth and went to the hospital to cut off one of his kidneys. Jesse accompanied him home with the stamps from Zhang Zhengui, only to find that collection room had been stolen and all his father's collections had been stolen.
