Chapter 1: Vibration can spread sound.
One day, my mother and I were playing in the yard. I saw a neighbor's child make a toy similar to an earphone with two disposable cups and wool. I want to play too. Mother lent me that toy. I happened to find that sound can pass from one cup to another.
I made one when I got home. I bend the wool and put an obstacle in the middle, so I can't hear the sound. Straighten the wool and clear the obstacles, and you can hear the sound.
Why is this? How does wool conduct sound? I think it may be the vibration of wool! If the wool bends or meets an obstacle, it will interfere with the vibration of the wool, so no sound can be heard. This is similar to the sound transmission principle of telephone lines. It's just that the telephone line uses electromagnetic waves, and this one uses sound waves.
Chapter II: Scientific Composition
In today's science class, Teacher Gong prepared a full glass of water and a box of paper clips for us. The teacher put the paper clips into the water one by one, only to see a string of small bubbles rising in the water, and the paper clips sank silently. There are more and more paper clips in the cup and the water level is getting higher and higher, but the water in the cup will never overflow. What's going on here? The teacher told us that this is because water has tension. Half the students guessed the result, while the other half didn't. Finally, everyone did the experiment again in groups. Some students were not careful, but the water still came out. It seems that the effect of tension is limited.
Chapter III: The Mystery of Science
In today's math class, Teacher Luo took us to the multimedia classroom to visit "Science". It's really lively inside. What I remember most is human conduction and kaleidoscope. There are two iron balls in human conduction. I hold the ball in my left hand and my classmates hold hands in their right. The last student holds another ball and then presses the button. Suddenly, a miracle happened, and the ring in the middle gave off colorful light. We were fascinated by the beautiful light and couldn't help shouting "Wow, it's beautiful!" Kaleidoscope is not what I expected. I thought there were only a few flowers, but to my surprise, there were many flowers in a * * *! I'm going to count, "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ..." But as soon as I turned the kaleidoscope, I was quickly confused, because there were several piles, each of which was exactly the same, and it was always dazzling. Science is amazing! I must be a scientist when I grow up.
