(2) What are the undergraduate courses for psychology majors?
On the undergraduate level, Beijing Normal University and Peking University are neck and neck. The basic psychology of Peking University is stronger, and the development and educational psychology of Beijing Normal University is stronger.
Zhejiang University followed closely, mainly in engineering management.
In universities, the branches of psychology are not so detailed. Basically, there are many medical psychology, clinical psychology, psychology and applied psychology, unless those very professional universities have too detailed branches.
Social psychology is a branch of psychology and belongs to a course of psychology, but as far as I know, it seems that I have never seen this major set up separately.
The good psychology in our country is in normal universities, almost every normal university in the region has this major, and comprehensive liberal arts colleges like Peking University will also offer it. In university, I will study the basic courses of psychology, such as general psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, experimental psychology, cognitive psychology, psychohistory, physiological psychology, consulting psychology, statistical measurement and other subjects. Only when you take the postgraduate entrance examination will there be several branches of psychology to study, and almost all basic subjects will be studied at the undergraduate level!
