Similarities and differences between vocational high schools and ordinary high schools
The counterpart college entrance examination is a competition among students in vocational education center, which not only reduces the difficulty, but also gives full play to their respective specialties. Compared with the general college entrance examination, the probability of entering the university is higher, which can meet the students' ideal of further study. But in fact, due to the simple content of counterpart education, many ordinary high school graduates can take the counterpart education examination after they have registered in vocational high schools for one and a half years and obtained the examination qualification.

1, easy to learn. In the culture class, only Chinese, mathematics and English are tested. The content of teaching materials is small, the difficulty is small, the starting point of professional courses is low, and professional knowledge and skills are the interests of students of various majors, so it is easy and enjoyable to learn.

2, easy to test. Some college entrance examination questions are original questions in textbooks and workbooks. In addition, in the three years of 20 15, 20 16 and 20 17, 5,000, 7,000 and 8,000 students registered for the college entrance examination respectively, which means that it will be easier to correspond to the college entrance examination and the admission rate will be higher if the number of students remains basically the same. And taking the college entrance examination can also be admitted to Hebei Normal University, Hebei University of Economics and Business, Hebei Agricultural University and other key institutions.

3. easy to get a certificate. Vocational high school students do not take the ordinary high school level examination, but can graduate and obtain the vocational high school graduation certificate after completing the prescribed courses (equivalent to the ordinary high school graduation certificate).

4. Good policies. Students in secondary vocational schools can enjoy the national tuition-free policy and financial aid policy for poor students.

5. The prospect is good. For students who enter the college entrance examination, the professional starting point is high. After entering the university, they study more easily and deeply in their majors, and their actual professional ability is stronger than that of students entering ordinary high schools, and their employment advantages are obvious.

First, candidates with unsatisfactory results in the senior high school entrance examination and scores lower than the admission line of key high schools;

Second, although the results of the senior high school entrance examination can be promoted to key high schools, the college entrance examination cannot be admitted to students of key universities;

Third, students who have achieved satisfactory results in the senior high school entrance examination, but are unwilling to continue their cultural studies, or have serious deviations;

Fourth, students who want to obtain civil servants and career establishment after employment, but have limited academic qualifications at present;

Fifth, students who want to pursue further studies and get a postgraduate degree after graduation.

First, the extra exams have the same form and time. They are all closed-book exams, and the time and language are June 7 and 8 every year.

Second, the channels and methods of admission for freshmen are the same. All of them are accepted by the national education authorities in accordance with certain procedures.

Third, the treatment of candidates admitted to colleges and universities is the same as that of college entrance examination candidates. All enrollment colleges treat students equally in teacher arrangement, curriculum design, student scholarships and diplomas, degree awarding, postgraduate entrance examination and civil service examination.

First, the content of high school study is different. The counterpart education adopts the form of "3+x" (that is, 3 cultural courses+professional courses). (The three cultural courses are Chinese, Mathematics and English; Professional synthesis is mostly independently tested by professional schools after the Spring Festival every year, taking the form of practical operation and theoretical written test, which is easier to test).

Ordinary high school textbooks are not used, and Chinese, mathematics and English are written by the provinces themselves; Unified teaching materials related to each major are designated by the national education department.

All the courses offered by counterpart education are less difficult than ordinary high schools, especially mathematics and English. The difficulty of textbooks is much lower than that of ordinary high school textbooks, which is very beneficial to vocational high school students.

Second, the college entrance examination papers are different from ordinary high school students. The entrance examination papers of all subjects in the counterpart entrance examination are independently produced by provinces and cities, which is much easier than the ordinary entrance examination. The examination papers of candidates of all majors are the same except for three subjects, and the comprehensive papers of all majors are divided into separate propositions of all majors.

Third, the time to choose a major is different from that of ordinary high school students. After attending the national unified college entrance examination, ordinary high school students apply for different colleges and universities according to their own achievements and choose different majors; Counterpart education means choosing your major in vocational high school, applying for this related major in colleges and universities, and continuing to study this major after going to college.

Fourth, the training objectives are different. After vocational college students enter the university, the training goal is basically all kinds of advanced practical talents urgently needed by the society, not research talents. After graduation, these students not only have solid theoretical knowledge, but also have certain practical operation ability, making it easier to find jobs.

Fifth, the competitors are not high. Students who choose to apply for the entrance examination for the counterpart college entrance examination are all students whose scores in the entrance examination have not reached the admission scores of local ordinary high schools, and their learning level is similar, so there is no competitive pressure for high scores.
