"Rite and Music" Education
After reading this topic, I believe everyone is most puzzled by the last four words' the teaching of rites and music'. What exactly is' the teaching of rites and music', rites? Music? Or a teaching activity that teaches manners and music? To answer this question, we have to start with the origin of the words "Li" and "Le". The four books and five classics, known as Confucian classics, are already familiar to everyone. Among them, the five classics refer to poetry, calligraphy, ceremony, change, spring and autumn. In fact, there is another one named Yue, but it was later lost. Together, these six books are called Six Classics, also known as Six Arts, from which Rites and Music came. According to statistics, in the Analects of Confucius, rites and music are the most talked about, so the main body of Confucian educational thought is rites and music. For more than 2,000 years since the mid-Western Han Dynasty, the thought of rites and music gave birth to the civilization of rites and music through continuous promotion and inheritance. Ritual and music civilization is an important feature of Chinese civilization, and our Chinese nation is also known as the state of rites and music, that is, the state of etiquette.
In Confucianism, ethics, music teaching and poetry teaching have always been important aspects of education, that is, Confucius said, "Prospering in poetry, standing in ceremony and becoming happy". "Owners take this festival to heart in consideration of people's feelings." "Gift" aims to provide a code of conduct. "Rite" exists in all aspects of our daily life and is the norm of all social behaviors. Personal appearance, family etiquette, campus etiquette, dining etiquette and public etiquette are all inseparable from the existence of "ceremony". The purpose of "music" is to cultivate the heart and make the mind highly harmonious. The "music" mentioned by Confucianism is not today's music, but refers to elegant music with moral education. The "ritual" mentioned by Confucianism generally includes "music", so the generalized "ritual" and "ritual music" are the same concept.
The Necessity of "Rites and Music" Education in Primary Schools
Why should we carry out "rites and music" education? This must start with the significance of education. The teacher preaches, teaches and dispels doubts. Education is both teaching and educating people. It is necessary to avoid focusing only on teaching and neglecting educating people. The purpose of teaching is to educate people, and educating people and teaching are complementary. This is exactly the quality education that we advocate now, and quality education can be said to be a modern ritual education to some extent.
The purpose of ritual and music education is to nourish students' body and mind, awaken their inner nature, and consciously and spontaneously understand, identify and practice these external etiquette norms. For example, awakening students' respect and respect is naturally respecting teachers and loving classmates. Introducing etiquette and music education into school education will not only help students develop campus etiquette, but also help students behave in family and society. Students are the future and hope of the country and the nation. If through our education, more students can learn and understand etiquette, and these students can influence their families and society, I believe that the overall quality of the people will be improved, and the reputation of "a country of etiquette" is well deserved.
Primary school students are in a critical period of individual development, but also a critical period of developing good behavior habits. On the one hand, this aspect is also the content that traditional rites and music attach importance to, and most of it is also applicable to modern school education. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out traditional etiquette and music education in primary schools, which is related to the development of students' lives and affects the improvement of the whole national literacy.
How to infiltrate the education of rites and music in mathematics teaching.
Primary school mathematics is an important subject in basic education. The main task of mathematics teachers is to impart mathematics knowledge, cultivate students' logical thinking ability and calculation ability, and at the same time, combine the characteristics of the subject to infiltrate students with effective etiquette and music civilization. As a math teacher, in my daily education and teaching work, I pay attention to cultivating civilized behavior habits in my daily life, educating and training students in basic etiquette, and improving their moral quality. Here are some of my specific practices:
I. Raising awareness
Mathematics teachers should realize that moral education in mathematics is rich in content, such as cultivating strict working attitude, enterprising spirit and perseverance by solving problems; Cultivate patriotism by understanding the relationship between mathematics and scientific development in China; It can be seen that the content of moral education in mathematics is very rich, and the key lies in whether we educators can broaden our thinking, take moral education as their own responsibility and innovate teaching methods, teaching forms and teaching contents.
Second, the infiltration of teachers' morality.
Primary school students have a distinct "teacher's morality", and teachers' manners, thoughts and behaviors affect students all the time. Therefore, mathematics teachers should strengthen their self-cultivation and set an example for students with noble sentiments and elegant manners. Teachers should take the lead in what students are asked to do. Teachers should first form the habits that students are required to form. Math teachers should fully show their love to students. The beautiful image of sunshine and wisdom permeates moral education into students' hearts.
Third, target penetration.
"The Curriculum Standard of Primary Mathematics" points out: "Mathematics should cultivate students' habits of being serious, diligent, thinking independently, cooperating and communicating, reflecting and questioning, and form a scientific attitude of persisting in truth, correcting mistakes and being rigorous and realistic. "Therefore, we should regard moral education as a goal of mathematics teaching and cultivate students' good study habits in teaching. Through strict training, students can form a serious and responsible attitude towards any work, a spirit of independent thinking and courage to overcome difficulties, and a good moral character of daring to face up to and correct mistakes.
Fourth, teaching infiltration.
(1) Before class
1. Before each class, the teacher arrives at the door of the classroom 1-2 minutes in advance, smiles and communicates with the children, understands the children's pre-class preparation and learning status, and guides the children to respond to the teacher's enthusiasm, say hello to the teacher, and convey and express their concern. Teach children to listen carefully in class, study hard, learn to think and ask questions, maintain a good sitting posture, and shape a sound personality in daily growth. Gradually learn to know, understand and abide by etiquette.
2. Read idioms, such as: "I will listen carefully and speak actively in class, and I will do it!"
3. "Hello, teacher!" "Hello, classmates", "Teacher's break" and "Thank you". A brief greeting will not delay the teaching time. This is a kind of communication, which is conducive to enhancing the feelings between teachers and students. On the surface, it may be insignificant, but in fact, it can cultivate students' subconscious concept of respecting teachers and valuing morality. In every class, in the face of children's greetings, I respond to the children with sincere smiles and deep bows, and let the children feel the charm of the ceremony in a subtle way!
(2) In class
1. In the classroom competition activities, students' competitive consciousness is cultivated and their practical application ability is improved through activities such as intelligence 5 minutes, oral arithmetic contest and intelligence breakthrough.
2. In group activities. The new curriculum advocates the teaching mode of autonomy, cooperation and inquiry. In the classroom, teachers should create situations so that students can cultivate team consciousness, cooperative spirit and communication ability in the process of cooperation, and cultivate good moral character with others in mind and collective in mind. For example, when the teaching classroom is long, I provide students with measuring tools to let the children cooperate in measuring the length of the classroom and think about what to pay attention to when measuring. In this process, children realize that their actions are not only responsible for themselves, but also for others in the group, and they learn to be responsible. In order to give full play to students' learning potential effectively, I take group cooperative learning as a platform, and through group communication and display, I show students' organizational ability, cooperative ability, expressive ability, thinking ability, listening ability and evaluation ability, so as to improve children's etiquette quality and achieve the purpose of cultivating morality, music, wisdom and benevolence.
3. In situational teaching, situational teaching is the most commonly used and effective teaching method in mathematics teaching in lower grades of primary schools. For example, in "Interesting Numbers", we crack secrets according to clues, are willing to help our peers, educate children to care more and help students in difficulty. In the review of learning the multiplication formula of 2-5, there is a situational question: at the gate of the park, a little boy is buying a ticket, and his parents are waiting behind. After solving the problem, students should randomly educate their children, help their parents do what they can, and know how to respect the old and love the young. The creation of interesting situations is not only to solve mathematical problems and consolidate the knowledge learned, but also contains some truth, understanding or determination. Let students be influenced by rites and music, and deduce the connotation of mathematics in the story situation.
(3) After class
1. In words and deeds: "Hello", "Please" and "Sorry" ... Whether inside or outside the school, students should take the initiative to say hello when they see their teachers-"Hello". When they enter the teacher's office, they should report or knock. In the corridor or on the bus, take the initiative to let the teacher do it first-"please".
2. Reading: Guide children to understand mathematicians' stories, read mathematical historical materials, appreciate the miracle of beauty left by mathematics in the process of creating human civilization, feel the power of knowledge and stimulate students' desire to create beauty.
3. Activities: After learning simple statistics, I organize students to investigate the amount of plastic waste produced by their families every day, every week and every month, and then count the amount of plastic waste produced by a class, a grade and a school, and educate students on environmental protection, so that they can develop environmental awareness from an early age and consciously protect the earth and the environment.
In short, it is necessary to carry out ritual and music education in the lower grades of primary schools. In the concrete implementation, etiquette practice should be given priority to, supplemented by appropriate theoretical explanations. Under the principle of step by step, starting from the teaching environment and external environment, we will promote etiquette and music education and promote the formation of students' habits.
