Junior high school mathematics is very difficult for junior high school children. Therefore, in order to improve students' interest in learning and visualize knowledge, we should cultivate students' mathematical modeling thinking. The common modeling methods in junior high school mathematics include: establishing a periodic equation model (inequality model) for the common equivalent relationship (inequality relationship) in real life, establishing a functional model for the common variable relationship in real life, and establishing a geometric model for those knowledge involving graphics. These contents are very important. The teaching of mathematical modeling in junior high school conforms to the idea of new mathematics curriculum reform and the requirements of quality education. Through modeling teaching for students, students can understand and master mathematical knowledge and methods more deeply, make their senses more agile, better cultivate their awareness of applied mathematics and their spirit of autonomy, cooperation, exploration and innovation, and truly become the main body of learning. First of all, the concept of equation
The new curriculum standard requires that the corresponding equations be listed according to the quantitative relationship in specific problems, which is an effective mathematical model to describe the real world. The application of equation model in junior high school mathematics teaching requires us to start with the quantitative relationship of the problem, apply relevant mathematical language, transform the conditions in the problem into equations (groups), and then solve the listed equations (groups) to get the results.
