Particles (atoms, ions or molecules) that make up a crystal form a regular symmetrical arrangement in three-dimensional space. If we use points to represent the particles that make up a crystal, the spatial arrangement of these points is called a spatial lattice. Each point in the lattice is called an array point. Space lattice is a mathematical abstraction.
