National training team walking policy
The top 50 students in physics, chemistry, biology and informatics can get the opportunity to go north, and the top 60 students in mathematics. In other words, every year, 260 students can rely on academic competitions to go to Qingbei. These students generally choose Tsinghua Yao Ban, Zhiban, Ban Qiu, Cai Yingban of Peking University, Peking University Institute of Physical Education and other places where big names gather.

At the same time, the top students in training and selection can enter the national team to represent China. China is very strong in the academic competition, winning all the gold medals many times.

The specific places are: 6 for the national team of mathematics, 5 for the world championships for the national team of physics, 8 for the Asian Games and 4 for other disciplines.

In the final, the gold and silver medals can get the chance to be shortlisted for the next year's strong foundation program.

First of all, let the students know about the existing policy of the Strong Foundation Program: in the shortlisting method of schools that implement the Strong Foundation Program, if candidates are shortlisted on the basis of academic competition awards (exceptional shortlisting), they are required to have won two or more awards in five major academic competitions (that is, gold and silver medals in the finals).

The national training team walking policy aims to provide more equal educational opportunities, encourage outstanding students from specific social groups and regions, and social contributors from students' family backgrounds to obtain higher-level university education opportunities, and provide them with a more inclusive and fair educational environment. The main goal of this policy is to let more students, especially those from poor areas and disadvantaged positions, get educational opportunities, cross the polarization between the rich and the poor and realize educational equity.

In addition, the policy also aims to improve the popularization rate and students' grades, promote the healthy development of students' mentality, stimulate students' innovative thinking ability on knowledge, and promote students' early cultivation in the social environment. With the continuous improvement of the national training team's walking policy, it has played a unique role in the process of popularizing higher education and going out of westernization.
