MathorCup University Mathematical Modeling Challenge is a discipline competition for full-time college students sponsored by China Optimization and Economic Mathematics Research Association.
China Optimization Method and Economic Mathematics Research Association is an academic social group directly led by China Association for Science and Technology, and it is a national first-class society. This society was founded by Chinese education on 1997 10/0/6. Up to now, more than ten professional branches have been established, including evaluation methods and applications, project management, computer simulation, overall planning, management decision and information system, industrial engineering, higher education management, mathematics education, economic mathematics and management mathematics, emergency management, grey system research and complex system research. The contest was hosted by China Optimization and Economic Mathematics Research Association, and the Organizing Committee of Mathematical Modeling Challenge of MathorCup University was responsible for organizing the contest.
The organizing committee of MathorCup University Mathematical Modeling Challenge set up the first prize, the second prize and the third prize. The winning proportion is shown in the following table:
The purpose of this competition is to build a platform to show the academic foundation of college students, improve their ability to solve social hot issues by using theoretical knowledge, broaden their scientific research horizons, encourage students to actively participate in extracurricular scientific and technological activities, and cultivate innovative spirit and cooperative consciousness. After more than ten years of development, the competition has become an influential basic discipline and applied science and technology competition in China.
