Mathematical analysis of fate
From the departure to the first encounter, the sum of the distances traveled by two cars is equal to the distance between two stops in AB.

From the first meeting to the second meeting, the sum of the distances traveled by two cars is equal to twice the distance between AB stations.

So:

From the departure to the second encounter, the sum of the distances traveled by the two cars is equal to three times the distance between AB stations.

That is to say,

From the departure to the second meeting, the distance traveled by the car is equal to three times the distance traveled from the departure to the first meeting, namely:

90*3=270 kilometers.

This distance is equivalent to the distance between AB plus 35% of the distance between AB (i.e. 1-65%).

So:

The distance between AB =270/( 1+35%)=200 km.
