The School of Mathematical Sciences enrolls about 1 10 graduate students and about 20 doctoral students every year.
Main research interests: number theory, algebra, geometry, function theory, functional analysis, topology, dynamic system, numerical algebra and parallel calculation, optimization theory and its application, numerical solution of partial differential equations, partial differential equations, mathematical theory of fluid dynamics, nonlinear analysis, biological mathematics, graph theory and combinatorial design, cybernetics and its application, limit theory and actuarial science, stochastic process and its application in finance, mathematical statistics and applications.
