Is there a Nobel Prize in Mathematics?
Nobel doesn't have a math prize. Nobel established the Nobel Prize in the will of 1895, which was originally divided into physics prize, chemistry prize, physiology or medicine prize, literature prize and peace prize. 1986, the Nobel Prize in Economics was added, but the Mathematics Prize was not mentioned. Nobel himself may not attach as much importance to mathematics as other scientific fields. He believes that mathematics is not so much the main science that directly promotes human progress as a basic tool. Although mathematics plays an important role in science and other fields, the Nobel Prize does not include the mathematics prize. NobelPrize (Swedish: Nobel Prize, English: Nobel Prize) was established in 1895 according to the will of Swedish chemist AlfredBernhardNobel.
