17, Korea's Jianguo University announced that Professor Zhao Yongmin's mathematics (physics) research group has solved the problem of "Yang-Mills existence and poor quality" (Yang-Mills theory) among the seven major mathematical problems in the world. Professor Zhao Yongmin is a theoretical physicist in the fields of particle physics theory, cosmology and unified field.
The so-called "seven mathematical problems" were put forward by Clay Institute of Mathematics (CMI). On May 24th, 2000, Clay Institute of Mathematics announced that it had collected seven classic puzzles that were extremely important in the history of mathematics, and the first person to solve any of them would receive a prize of $6,543,800+0,000. Therefore, these seven problems are also called "seven mathematical problems". These seven problems are P and NP problem (NP complete problem), Hodge conjecture, Poincare conjecture, Riemann hypothesis, Young-Mills existence and mass gap hypothesis (Young-Mills theory), Navier-Stokes equation (Navier-Stokes equation), Behr and Swenton-Dale conjecture (BSD conjecture).
So far, only Poincare conjecture has been answered among these seven questions.
It is reported that although Professor Zhao's algorithm has been published in international authoritative physics journals, it has not been certified by Clay Institute of Mathematics. Clay Institute of Mathematics will spend up to two years to prove whether this problem-solving process is correct.
