Course objective: to emphasize the cultivation of students' three core qualities.
The new curriculum standard of mathematics in 2022 clearly puts forward three core qualities of cultivating students:
(1) will observe the real world from a mathematical perspective.
Mathematics provides people with an observation way to know and explore the real world. From the mathematical point of view, we can find the quantitative relationship and spatial form from the objective phenomena in the real world, and put forward meaningful mathematical problems; Being able to abstract mathematical research objects and their attributes, and form concepts, relationships and structures; Be able to understand the mathematical principles behind natural phenomena and realize the aesthetic value of mathematics; Form curiosity and imagination about mathematics, actively participate in mathematical inquiry activities, and develop innovative consciousness.
(2) I can think about the real world with mathematical thinking, and mathematics provides people with a way of thinking to understand and explain the real world. Through mathematical thinking, we can reveal the essential attributes of objective things and establish logical connections between mathematical objects and between mathematics and the real world. According to the known facts or principles, we can draw a logical conclusion and build a mathematical logic system; Able to use mathematical methods such as symbolic operation and formal reasoning to analyze and solve mathematical problems and practical problems; Can reduce and formalize all kinds of information through computational thinking, solve problems and design systems; Form a argumentative, organized and logical thinking quality, and cultivate a scientific attitude and rational spirit.
(3) Being able to express the real world in mathematical language, mathematics provides a way for people to describe and communicate the real world. Through the language of mathematics, we can simply and accurately describe natural phenomena, scientific situations, quantitative relations and spatial forms in daily life; Be able to establish a general mathematical model to express and solve problems in real life and other disciplines; Be able to understand the meaning and value of data, explain and predict uncertain phenomena with the analysis results of data, and form reasonable judgments or decisions; Form mathematical expression and communication ability, and cultivate application consciousness and practical ability.
"Observing the world with mathematical eyes, thinking about the world with mathematical thinking and expressing the world with mathematical language" is a higher requirement for mathematical learning and thinking ability on the basis of learning mathematical knowledge and skills.
