70% of the junior and senior high schools in the top 100 in the United States have students participating in the Mathematics League Cup, which shows the outstanding influence of the thinking exploration activities of the American Mathematical League.
Major League Baseball has a wide influence in the world. Participating in this competition and winning the prize will help to improve students' chances of applying to famous high schools and universities in the United States, Canada and Britain in the future. In addition to helping students studying abroad, MLS itself can enrich their resumes, which is beneficial for ordinary students to enter the first-class private junior high schools and high schools in China.
Major League America is aimed at junior high school students and primary school students. At the age of 6- 15, the area of children's brain responsible for language learning is actually in the most sensitive period. As an international mathematics competition, Major League America can undoubtedly greatly improve children's English ability in the process of learning mathematics.
Major League Baseball is divided into three stages.
The first stage activity is written examination, which can be taken all over the country. The written test questions are flexible, vivid, interesting and close to life.
Student: Grade 3-12; Registration time: expected in September; Competition time: 165438+ every year1mid to late October; Activity form: online/offline examination; Registration method: register with the organization.

The second stage of activities is carried out through the network. Students can download the questions online after paying the registration fee, and upload the answers after completion.
The purpose of this stage is to let China students experience the advantages and characteristics of American mathematics teaching, that is, American heuristic, applied, relaxed and interesting, closely related to real life, research and exploratory teaching methods, and pay attention to students' mathematical thinking, creative thinking, imagination and ability to solve real life problems with mathematics.
Participating students: the first 50% students in the first stage; Registration time: after the results of the first stage come out; Competition time: winter vacation in the second year; Activity form: online open-book homework, 50+ questions/compositions.

In the second stage of the activity, students are required not only to input answers, but also to input "ideas for doing problems" by voice. American mathematics education attaches importance to "speaking mathematics", which is also reflected in major leagues. "Speaking Mathematics" can make students think more clearly, express more accurately, be more logical and so on.
The third stage activity-the final exam of the research carnival was jointly put forward by the American "Major League" thinking exploration research activity and Princeton University, Columbia University and Williams College, which was very challenging and focused on cultivating students' creative problem-solving and innovative thinking ability.
