What are the achievements of Wang, a famous female mathematician in Qing Dynasty?
Wang (1768- 1797), female, from Tianchang, Anhui Province, was a famous mathematician and writer in Qing Dynasty. She is the author of one volume of Addition and Deletion of Western Computing, one volume of Calculation Revision, four volumes of Digital Speculation and five volumes of A Brief History of Arithmetic. The article "Explanation of Eclipse" written by Wang brilliantly expounded the knowledge of the occurrence, phase and depth of eclipse.
