Shantou, referred to as Tuocheng and Tuodao for short, is a prefecture-level city, sub-central city, mega-city and Chaozhou food capital under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province. It is located at the southern tip of Hanjiang Delta, bordering Chaozhou in the north, Jieyang in the west, the South China Sea in the south and Taiwan Province Province across the sea in the east.
