Anxiang Vocational Secondary School was founded in 1985, formerly known as Anxiang No.2 Middle School, and 1999 merged with Anxiang No.1 Middle School. In the same year, it was rated as a key vocational high school in Hunan Province. In 2004, it was renamed Anxiang Vocational Secondary School and promoted to the national key vocational secondary school, which is the only national key school in the county.
