As we all know, the good survival and healthy development of a school cannot be separated from a good principal. The principal's work needs the support of the guidance office and the Young Pioneers. Facing the implementation of the new curriculum standards in the new period, how to do a good job in the Young Pioneers' work and give full play to the normal functions of the Young Pioneers' organization in the school is related to the success or failure of the curriculum reform experiment. Combined with the practice in recent years, I would like to talk about some superficial views.
1. Run the school by virtue, and earnestly strengthen the daily management of the school and the implementation of the new curriculum standards for education. The original management model is no longer "fashionable" and the old stereotype of "teaching by the book" should be completely "retired". As a Young Pioneers organization, how to fight side by side with the guidance office under the leadership of the principal and do a good job in "moral" (ideological work) is an urgent task within the school under the new curriculum reform.
1, pay attention to the flag-raising ceremony and strengthen the ideological education of loving the motherland and respecting the national flag, which is what every Chinese descendant must do. Our school will hold a grand flag-raising ceremony in the big playground every Monday morning. Require all players to wear school uniforms and perform team ceremonies in the national anthem; Then sing the national anthem together; Then, a representative (team member or teacher) speaks under the national flag. When raising the national flag, we ask all teachers and students to take it seriously. Once the music starts, no matter where you are, as long as you are on campus, you should salute the national flag (the players salute and the teachers stand at attention). As for the candidates for "flag-raisers" and "speaking under the national flag", we generally choose players who are usually active. In order to urge every team member to study hard, make continuous progress, and strive to create opportunities to be flag bearers and speak under the national flag.
2. Conscientiously Implement the Standard In order to effectively implement the Standard for Primary School Students, we adapted the Standard for Primary School Students into an easy-to-understand "Ten Don 'ts" for the players to read until they can recite it. At the same time, we also hold a "code" recitation contest every semester. In the form of recitation and competition, urge each player to remember the content of the code and standardize his words and deeds with the content of the code. Each team member is required to do four "no" and three "gently" during recess. Let the team members regularly check, standardize and educate themselves according to the norms, so as to make the campus orderly and develop in the direction of standardization, standardization and modernization. In order to truly implement the Code, the Young Pioneers Brigade of our school has also set up a "red scarf supervision post", and the supervisor is responsible for "coming to school early", "red scarf", "little yellow hat", "reading early", "doing exercises", "recess", "discipline", "snacks" and "hygiene" of each class every day. After a semester, the number of "red flags flying" is one of the main conditions for evaluating "civilized class" and "excellent class" It is easy to grasp the norms in the school, but it is difficult to regulate outside the school. We queue up to leave school after school, and the team leader is in charge after leaving school. It is strictly forbidden to stop in the game hall to buy snacks and play games. We also ask all players to supervise each other and build a healthy atmosphere. At the same time, we also carried out the signature activity of "Four Away (away from game halls, away from gambling places, away from feudal superstitions and away from drugs)" among experienced players to promote the healthy growth of each player.
3, often read safety classics, often sing peace songs. In recent years, the state has attached great importance to security issues. The Jiangsu Provincial Government and the Education Department have repeatedly issued notices on strengthening safety work, requiring all schools in the province to put safety work at the top of their school work, so as to keep the alarm bells ringing and make unremitting efforts. The Young Pioneers of our primary school, in combination with the reality of our school, carefully organized counselors and teachers to study the spirit of the "Notice" in our province, and carried out self-inspection of safety work again and again in our school, regularly checking the water, electricity, doors, windows and houses of each class and system, and resolutely and thoroughly eliminating potential safety hazards. At the same time, on the original basis, we also revised the "Lu Yu Primary School Safety Work Plan", requiring all personnel entering and leaving the school to implement a registration system, except that the school has strengthened the management of the doorman. A feasible management system has been established for the dishes, rice and vegetables in the canteen; In addition to the meeting of drivers, cyclists and parents of cyclists, the Red Scarf Supervisor also checked and registered the bells, brakes and locks of cyclists' bicycles one by one. The problems found were rectified within a time limit, and riders under the age of 65 and 438+02 were not allowed to go on the road, and all riders were required to "participate in the insurance". So that every teacher and team member can fully realize the important responsibility of safety work, truly make everyone pay attention to safety, and implement safety measures in every class to ensure that safety work is foolproof. Because I often read safety classics and often sing Taiping songs, I have not had an accident in the past 20 years and have been well received by local cadres.
Second, pay close attention to the quality of team members and strive to survive in quality. The quality of a school depends on the comprehensive quality (ability) of students. "Survival by quality" is a very sensitive and realistic problem. In order to survive in quality, facing the three-level curriculum framework of "country-place-school", how to develop local and school-based resources is a big problem worthy of our in-depth consideration. The great educator Mr. Ye Shengtao once said: "Teaching is to avoid teaching. ..... That is to say, our teacher should guide them and let them learn by themselves all their lives until they are old. " According to Mr. Ye Lao's teaching, in our specific work, we work with the guidance office, thinking about improving the quality of team members, and doing what we young pioneers should do in order to promote quality education and strictly implement the new curriculum standards.
(1) Strengthening the construction of campus culture and making full use of campus resources are new measures in the process of implementing new curriculum standards and deepening the reform of basic education curriculum; It is the main position of school-based curriculum development. To this end, we young pioneers have mainly done the following work:
1. Effectively improve the development and utilization value of newspapers. Our school subscribes to many newspapers every year, saying that they are for the players. In fact, it didn't really play its role. When the newspaper came, it was put in the reading room. It's no use without someone to manage it. Now, we have established a new "newspaper reading gallery" to achieve these two goals. The Young Pioneers Brigade of the school is responsible for management. Every week, more than a dozen newspapers subscribed by the school, such as Language Newspaper, Pupils' Mathematics Newspaper, Pupils' Intelligence Development Newspaper, Pupils' Chinese Pinyin Newspaper, Pupils' Story Newspaper and Care for the Next Generation Weekly, will be replaced. Now, the newspaper gallery has become another beautiful landscape on campus. Every day after school and school, there are "little bees" everywhere.
2. Effectively improve the development and utilization value of books In order to make full use of the existing book resources, we will further improve the school library on the original basis. Establish and improve the book lending system, equip librarians and increase management power, so that existing books can play their special role in the implementation of the new curriculum and effectively improve the utilization rate of books. In addition, we also mobilized the team members to exert their collective strength, and each squadron set up a book corner to make use of idle books to play the role of "resource sharing". Recently, under the extremely difficult financial situation, we invested more than 5,000 yuan to buy back a batch of books from Nanjing. We believe that no matter how poor the school is, it cannot be poor. As long as it is good for education and helpful for the study of the players, we are willing to spend more money!
3. Effectively improve the development and utilization value of moral education base. The traditional moral education bases of our school are Lu Yu nursing home, Lu Yu street and school agricultural base. It is in this base that we have trained and brought up a batch of new people. Liyang People's Broadcasting Station, Changzhou Daily and Changzhou Education often report. Naturally, it has also become one of the development channels of school-based curriculum in our school. We often organize team members to carry out activities in communities, nursing homes and school agricultural bases, so that team members can get in touch with society, enter society, understand society, contact nature, enter nature and understand nature. Let players get exercise in activities, improve their social skills, distinguish right from wrong, and use their hands and brains; Let the players learn more knowledge that is not in the textbook, broaden their horizons and enrich their knowledge.
4. Effectively improve the development and utilization value of campus flower beds. Today, Luhua Primary School is a "garden style" school. Whether it is building structure, modeling or species of flowers and trees, it can be said to be a book, a poem and a ready-made school-based teaching material. It not only beautifies and infuses the campus, but also provides a place for players to watch and learn. According to the layout, our school has flowers in four seasons and flowers in four seasons. Since the implementation of the new curriculum standard, we have used this position to organize team members to observe, explore, study and collect ... Through a series of activities, most team members in our school can tell what flowers bloom in what season and understand what flowers are in what shape; Know which flowers and trees can be cut down and which flowers and trees need to be planted, cultivated, transplanted and grafted; I also know the names, origins and legends of some precious flowers and trees ... In this fertile soil, many players have learned and contacted nature, and they are no longer the weak scholars who used to "carry baskets with their hands and shoulders". They learned things that were not in the textbooks, broadened their knowledge and improved their level.

Since the implementation of the new curriculum standard of science and technology art festival, our young pioneers have held a science and technology art festival every semester to carry out "big training" activities. Carrying out the activities of science and technology art festival not only enlivens the athletes' body and mind, but also broadens the teaching ideas and cultivates their abilities, which really kills two birds with one stone. In the Winter Science and Technology Art Festival, we pay attention to three activities: winter exercise (skipping rope, kicking shuttlecock and long-distance running). Secondly, arrange some activities that the players like, such as composition, Olympics, calligraphy, recitation, computer, chess, tug-of-war, table tennis, small basketball and so on. Summer Science and Technology Festival, there are so many activities! There are juniors who wear shoes and tie their shoelaces, middle school students who nail buttons, and senior students who mix cucumbers. There are recitation, ancient poetry contest, 5-minute speech contest in the morning, basic knowledge of Chinese, mathematics and English. There are also traditional composition, olympiad, calligraphy and other competitions, which are really diverse in form, name and variety. Players can choose to participate in the competition according to their hobbies, so that each player has the opportunity to participate in activities and has a place to play and show their talents. This semester, we choose "science around us" as the theme of the composition competition in junior and senior high schools. Who knows, the players wrote vividly and launched a bold and rich imagination. Some appear in books, and some are imagined by oneself in combination with life practice. The judge teacher said with deep feelings: "It's a pleasure to read these compositions!"
2. Carrying out hiking and community service activities in the school after the new curriculum reform, it is not difficult to find that the team members are disgusted with the numerous courses and boring campus life. How to change this situation, we take regular hiking activities, such as spring outing, autumn outing, street and nursing home services. Let players have a hope in their hearts (remember: don't keep them in primary school for six years like pigeons for safety). This spring outing, we really tasted the sweetness of hiking. Our goal is to climb Mount Jiya, but the children are always laughing on the road. Seeing the lake under the sunshine and breeze, they blurted out, "This is called sparkling!" " (They also moved the classroom) Combine what they have learned with everything in the world. When climbing the mountain, along the way, it became a place for children to "train". When they all climbed to the top of Ji Ya and saw the beautiful scenery of the motherland, they all smiled with relief. Under the team flag, they shouted, shouted and hugged ... that kind of eyes, that kind of scene, you can't find it on campus anyway. At the top of the mountain, a team member said excitedly, "This mountaineering activity has let me see the beautiful scenery of the mountain peak, the spirit of helping others and the greatness of collective strength. At this moment, the scene of the great poet Li Bai boarding Ji Ya to recite poems and paint seems to appear in front of me, which makes me think a lot. " Although mountaineering is bitter and tiring, it exercises the will of people and children!
Secondly, we also let the team members go to the nursing home to express their condolences to the lonely elderly, clean up the house for the elderly and celebrate their birthdays; Donate money for orphans and offer love to families in need; Take part in voluntary labor in the streets and strive to be a qualified "little environmentalist" ... More activities not only enrich and broaden the knowledge of the team members, but also lay a solid foundation for improving the quality of composition, education and teaching in a large area. In 200 1 year, I organized and participated in the essay-writing activity of "I can do it in the new century" organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and more than 20 members of our school won the first, second and third prizes of national essay writing.
In the course reform, due to the practical work, effective measures and solid work, all kinds of fresh and gratifying changes have been brought, not only the thoughts of team members have undergone qualitative changes, but also new feasible channels have been opened up to improve the quality of education and teaching, which is refreshing.
