The main function of semicolons is to divide some existing relationships, which may be juxtaposition or turning or undertaking causal relationships, and most of these relationships are with some juxtaposition clauses.
A single sentence separated by a semicolon can be said to be a single repeated sentence, the first hierarchical sentence of a multiple complex sentence, or a sentence with parallel parts in a long sentence. In addition, semicolons can also be used to separate some parallel phrases appearing in the enumeration part, or different interpretations of the same meaning in some dictionaries.
