First, the basic situation of the questionnaire survey
1, the origin of the questionnaire survey
Junior high school students must have a strong interest in learning, good study habits and strong learning ability, which is one of the basic goals of the current curriculum reform of basic education and the requirement of the reform and development of basic education in our city. Over the past few years, with the aim of "establishing people's satisfactory education" and the goal of improving classroom teaching efficiency, the quality of education and teaching has been steadily improved through the efforts of the vast number of education cadres and teachers in the city. But do students' interest in learning, study habits and learning ability improve steadily with the improvement of education and teaching quality? Or what is the current situation of students' study habits, what achievements are there, and what problems still exist? In order to teach students in accordance with their aptitude and cultivate their study habits in a targeted way, during the teaching supervision period, we investigated the current situation of junior high school students' study habits with questionnaires as the main part and discussions as the supplement.
2. The content of the questionnaire.
Learning habits include learning interest, learning methods and learning ability, which are rich in content, involving a wide range and difficult to operate. In order to facilitate the operation, we will narrow the scope of the survey, and only investigate learning interest, classroom attention, preview, review and self-control ability. We designed a questionnaire on junior high school students' study habits, entitled *** 18, and randomly sampled Huanghua junior high school students, Linjiacun junior high school students, Taoyuan junior high school students and Lv Biao junior high school students. * * * A total of 32 questionnaires were sent out and all of them were recovered. At the same time, we also learn about students' study habits by talking with teachers.
Second, the survey results and analysis
We made a comprehensive statistics and analysis of 32 questionnaires. The results and analysis are as follows:
(1) About the forming environment of study habits: The topic we designed is 1. Do you arrange self-study classes in your schedule? Except for the third and fourth grades, all the first grades are arranged. The establishment of self-study class gives students time to study independently, which can meet the learning needs of students at different levels. In particular, it is beneficial for outstanding students to give full play to their specialties, and for backward students to check for leaks and fill vacancies, thus promoting the substantial improvement of teaching quality. 2. Are the music, physical education and art classes in your class normal? The answer of junior and middle school students is that they usually attend every class. This shows that running a school is rational. According to the curriculum plan, all courses and classes are offered in basic grades, which provides a good external environment for students to develop their study habits. 3. Is there any preview homework in the usual homework? Students in the middle and lower grades (grades 7 and 8) generally report that they have preview homework. This shows that we should not only create an external environment for the formation of study habits, but also create a platform for students to form habits, which is conducive to the cultivation and formation of students' habits.
(2) About learning interest and learning attitude: The survey found that 87.5% students are interested in learning, and only 9.4% students are not interested, so they can't talk about it alone. 68.8% students are persistent, and 28. 1% students are hot and cold. Answering "What is your learning style?" 7 1.9% of the students answered with a down-to-earth and rigorous attitude, 25% of the students were not down-to-earth, and only 3. 1% of the students were careless and impetuous. Students' interest in learning is gradually enhanced, and a good learning attitude is gradually formed.
(3) The present situation of learning methods. In order to understand this situation, we designed two themes:
1, "What do you think of your study method?" 65.6% students pay attention to understanding and are good at summarizing, 25% students don't pay attention to understanding and summarizing, and 9.4% students' methods are rigid and have not improved.
2. "Contents of all subjects learned that day" 75% of students "review before writing homework", and 25% of students "rush to write homework without reviewing".
From the above survey, we can get two messages: First, two-thirds of the students pay attention to learning methods and understanding and summarizing knowledge, which is helpful to the construction of knowledge structure and the better use of knowledge to analyze and solve problems, but this ratio is too small, and one-third of the students "don't pay attention to understanding and summarizing" or even "the methods are rigid and have not improved". Second, three-quarters of students attach importance to the correct order of review and homework. The correct order is to review first and then do your homework. The advantage of this is that combining homework with textbook knowledge is conducive to consolidating and understanding knowledge. Its purpose is to do homework for understanding and consolidating knowledge, not for homework. The order of review and homework is different, and its effect is also very different.
(4) About study habits, that is, the learning state of each link in the learning process, such as review and preview: for this reason, we have designed three topics.
1, can I review the learning content of the day every day? 68.8% students answered "average", 2 1.9% students "don't review often" and 9.3% students "generally don't review".
2. Is there any preview in the homework? More than 90% of the students answered "there is a preview homework".
3. Can I preview new knowledge before class? 62.5% students answered "Yes", 25% students "don't preview often" and 12.5% students "generally don't preview".
From the above survey, we can get two messages: First, teachers can arrange preview homework and consciously cultivate students' preview consciousness and preview behavior. Second, more than 60% of students have strong learning enthusiasm and initiative. Preview and review are homework assigned by the teacher, and students can take the initiative to complete preview and review homework tasks according to the teacher's requirements. But at the same time, we should also see that more than 30% of students do not do enough in preview and review, and they can't do "regular review" and "regular preview before class"
(V) About classroom study habits: Design questions from the following four small questions.
1. Do you take study notes in class? 93.8% of the students answered "taking study notes", and 6.2% of the students "generally don't do it".
2. Are you paying attention in class? 53. 1% students answered "open mind and active thinking", 43.8% students "sometimes get distracted" and 3. 1% students "often do things unrelated to class".
3. How do you feel about your self-control? 53. 1% of the students "can get rid of all kinds of interference and keep strong fighting spirit", 40.6% of the students "don't respond to some interference, sometimes they are influenced", and 6.3% of the students "are often influenced by some behaviors and interfere with others".
4. Is the utilization rate of your self-study time high? 28. 1% of the students answered "self-study planning is strong and the utilization rate is high", and 7 1.9% of the students answered "basically usable".
Through the above investigation, we can get three messages: First, more than 90% students have the habit of taking notes in class, which is inseparable from the teacher's requirements. Second, listening attention and self-control ability in the classroom are mixed. More than half of the students "can get rid of all kinds of interference and maintain strong fighting spirit", but nearly half of them "sometimes get distracted" in class, which is very unfavorable for learning. There are two reasons for the analysis of deviation, one is subjective and the other is objective. Objective reasons are the main ones, such as teachers' single teaching form, which can't stimulate students' enthusiasm to actively participate in learning activities. Self-control ability and attention complement each other. Strong self-control ability naturally leads to strong attention, and vice versa. Therefore, a survey shows that both listening attention and self-control ability are 53.8+0%. Third, nearly one-third of the students are "self-planned and have a high utilization rate", but the proportion of such students is too small. If only there were three-quarters of the students. This shows that most students' autonomous learning ability needs to be further enhanced.
Third, the conclusion of the investigation.
Through the statistics and analysis of 32 questionnaires collected and our understanding of students in other schools, we think we can be sure of the following points:
The school is creating a good external environment for students to develop good study habits. Some schools can arrange self-study classes, and some teachers can arrange a certain amount of review and preview homework, which provides conditions for students to develop study habits.
② Students have a strong interest in learning. Nearly 90% students are interested in learning, and more than 90% students have the habit of taking study notes.
Good study habits are taking shape. Judging from the survey indicators, most indicators have reached more than 60%, close to or more than two-thirds. For example, 65.6% students pay attention to understanding and are good at summarizing, 75% students review before finishing their homework, 68.8% students can generally review after class, and 62.5% students can preview before class. This shows that more than 60% students pay attention to learning methods to varying degrees, and pay attention to the cultivation of habits such as reviewing and previewing.
Problems in the formation of study habits;
① A considerable number of students (about one third) are in the transformed state, that is, from sub-learning state to excellent learning state. According to the survey, although two-thirds of the students in each index are in excellent learning state, there are still a large number of students (about one-third) in sub-learning state, such as little interest, unscientific methods and poor persistence in good learning behavior.
② A considerable number of students' self-control and self-restraint abilities need to be improved. In class, 43.8% of students are sometimes absent-minded, and 3. 1% of students often do things unrelated to class. 40.6% students "don't respond to some interference, sometimes they are influenced", and 6.3% students "are often influenced by some behaviors and interfere with others". This is a manifestation of self-control and weak self-control.
③ A considerable number of students' autonomous learning ability needs to be improved. In the self-study class, 7 1.9% students "can basically use their own self-study time", but "self-study planning is not strong" and they can't arrange their study tasks purposefully and planned.
④ The study habits of the three grades are not balanced enough, and basically decrease with the increase of grades. With the growth of grade, his study habits become better and better, but on the contrary, with the growth of grade, his habits become weaker and weaker. This is related to the attention of senior teachers, who think that the learning task of senior students is heavy and the cultivation of learning habits is not important. At the same time, with the increase of grades, the degree of self-study of students decreases step by step.
⑤ The integrity problem is serious. Students in individual units can't fill in the questionnaire truthfully, and the answer to a question is very different. For example, the third question in the questionnaire: Do you arrange self-study classes in your class schedule? The answers are arranged and arranged unevenly. This topic is very objective, so there can't be such a big gap.
Fourth, suggestions for forming habits.
1, fully understand the importance of habit formation, create a positive atmosphere of public opinion, organize education cadres and teachers to seriously study theoretical books, publications and documents on student habit formation, improve the skills of cadres and teachers to guide students to form habits, and set off a wave of good study habits in the city.
2. According to the requirements of the new curriculum and the characteristics of the disciplines, the various disciplines of the Municipal Teaching and Research Office revised and issued targeted and instructive guidance on learning methods, which were implemented in all aspects of students' learning together with students' learning routines. At the same time, the municipal teaching and research section should formulate specific learning methods in all aspects, such as how to guide students to preview, review, attend classes, take notes, and carry out practical activities.
3. Continue to offer self-study classes to provide time guarantee for students' habit formation. The habit of reviewing and previewing and the habit of autonomous learning are formed under the condition of time autonomy. Without time to be independent, the cultivation of these habits will become empty talk. Self-study classes can be arranged in boarding schools in the morning and evening, and non-boarding schools can be arranged in ordinary classes in the morning and during the day. At least one self-study class can be arranged in 8 ordinary classes every day.
Schools should pay attention to cultivating students' study habits and teaching quality. We should attach great importance to it and formulate practical measures to implement this work. First of all, we should formulate the planning and safeguard measures for habit formation; Second, it should be implemented as the routine teaching work of the school; Third, through scientific research, we should study and solve problems that are difficult to implement in habit formation; Fourth, we should promote the implementation of habit formation through inspection and evaluation. The teaching and research section should also be a long-term project and should be the focus of teaching and research work, so as to do a good job in implementation and inspection.
5. Study habits should be developed from the basic grade, especially in middle and senior grades. Middle and senior grades should start full classes together like basic grades to provide a strong external environment for students' autonomous learning.
6. Teachers should be arranged to attend classes at least twice in accordance with relevant regulations. Teachers should teach two classes instead of one class, especially the main courses (Chinese, math, English) in junior high school and senior high school. Teachers must change the present situation that one person undertakes one class, and the system of one person taking two classes is imperative. In this way, schools and teachers can start classes according to the curriculum plan, and all the remaining classes can be arranged for self-study classes.
Hope to adopt.
