The three universities in Northeast China are Liaoning University (2 1 1), Heilongjiang University (national key university) and changchun university of science and technology (national key university). In recent years, these three universities have jointly held job fairs for graduates, so they are collectively called "the three largest universities in Northeast China".

The middle school affiliated to Harbin Normal University, high school attached to northeast normal university and Liaoning Experimental Middle School cooperated sincerely and organized the "three provinces and three schools" joint examination for 18 years, which not only enjoyed high reputation in the three northeastern provinces, but also had great influence in the whole country.
