Examination subject ④, 0 1 candidates are restricted to take the Basic Mathematics of Finance (mathematical statistics 40%, Introduction to Financial Mathematics 30%, and securities investment 30%), and candidates from 02, 03, 04 and 05 are restricted to take the Basic Mathematics Examination II (Advanced Algebra, Analytic Geometry). The total number of students enrolled in this major includes 30 graduate students majoring in financial mathematics and actuarial science (see the website of Peking University Institute of Mathematical Sciences for details), among which about 1.5 students are proposed to be recommended for exemption.
