The demonstration of mathematical modeling (application) ability in senior high school is a competition. The High School Mathematical Modeling Competition (HiMCM) was founded on 1999 by COMAP, an American mathematics and its application alliance. It is an international mathematics competition open to high school students all over the world. It aims to provide high school students with opportunities to participate in and improve their modeling, problem solving and writing skills as team members.
