Jiangning District is located in the southeast of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. It is one of the eight main districts of Nanjing, an important national science and education center and innovation base, an advanced manufacturing base, a transportation and logistics hub and an airport hub in the eastern part of the country. Jiangning surrounds the main city of Nanjing from the east, west and south, and the transportation systems of aviation, shipping, railway and highway meet. It is an important hub for Nanjing's foreign exchange.
Jiangning District is the land of luxury in the Six Dynasties and the capital of the Ten Dynasties. With Shangyuan County, it is the mother county of Nanjing. It has a history of "Shang Yuan people are good at business, Jiangning people are good at farming, Longdu people are good at medicine, Taowu people are good at pottery, Moling people are good at weaving, and Doucun people are good at weaving".
Jiangning District is known as "six mountains, one water and three plains", including Niushou Mountain Cultural Tourism Zone, Tangshan Hot Spring Tourism Resort, Fangshan Scenic Area, Yangshan Monument, Nantang Erling, Liu Yang Village Ancient Buildings, Shecun Ming and Qing Buildings and many other scenic spots. Among them, Tangshan Hot Spring Tourist Resort ranks first among the four major convalescent hot springs in China, and it is the first batch of state-level tourist resorts.
