Bai, a professor at the School of Mathematical Sciences of Qufu Normal University, told the Beijing News that the ranking is an institutional behavior of American News and has nothing to do with the school. We know the strength of our school's mathematics discipline, and we also know that there is a gap with the mathematics department of Peking University. Qufu Normal University ranked first in the mathematics discipline ranking of domestic universities in China published by U.S.News, beating Tsinghua of Peking University. Shandong University of Science and Technology also ranked third, surpassing famous universities such as Tsinghua and Fudan. According to official website of U.S.News, there are 13 ranking standards for universities in the world, among which literature measurement accounts for the highest proportion, accounting for 65%, followed by reputation measurement, accounting for 25%, and scientific research achievement measurement accounts for 10%.
