First, give love and build confidence.
A successful teacher must have love first. Whether a student can get the teacher's love will directly affect his interest in learning and his future path. In our classroom teaching, we should pay more attention to students with learning difficulties, encourage them and help them, psychologically eliminate the obstacles for students to learn mathematics and build their confidence. Say "you can learn math well", don't discourage them, don't discriminate against them, don't say "you can't do such a simple problem", be kind to them and don't put on airs. This is sacred and inviolable. You know, only teachers who love their students can get their love, and students who love their teachers love the subjects you teach.
Second, seize the bright spots and cultivate interest in learning mathematics.
Students with learning difficulties are often not interested in the main course of Chinese mathematics, but interested in technical subjects or entertainment games. For example, among students, boys like playing table tennis and girls like jumping rubber bands. I make use of their interests and specialties to make up math problems in teaching: "Table tennis, Wu Peixin won 15 balls, Shen Hao won two-thirds of Wu Peixin's, and Xu Di won six-fifths of Wu Peixin's. Who is the champion in this game? How many goals did Shen Hao win? " This problem is direct thinking, not difficult. I found Lv Huanhuan who doesn't study hard and likes playing table tennis to solve it. As soon as he saw that it was the topic of his classmates playing table tennis, he became interested, so he actively thought about it and asked other students. Later, in math class, he became positive and raised his hand more than before. In this way, it not only stimulates their interest in actively thinking about mathematical problems, but also organically combines intellectual factors and non-intellectual factors to help students improve their ability to solve mathematical problems.
In a word, we should face all the students in the math class and respect them to overcome their learning difficulties. In the classroom, we should give them more opportunities, more time and space to do it, so that they can always participate in the mathematics teaching classroom, cultivate their positive thinking quality and interest in learning mathematics, improve their learning ability and benefit them for life.
