GMAT stands for Graduate Management Entrance Examination. Universities in the United States, Britain, Australia and other countries all use GMAT test scores to evaluate whether applicants are suitable for business and economic management graduate students, so as to decide whether to accept them. The GMAT is sponsored by the American Testing Center (ETS) in Princeton, New Jersey, and entrusted by the American Graduate Entrance Examination Board (GMAC). The organizer of China is China International Examination Coordination Office (CIECB).
