What is a closed interval?
In mathematics, a closed interval is opposite to an open interval. The set of all points on a straight line between two fixed points (including two given points).

A closed interval is a closed set connected on a straight line.

Because it is a bounded closed set, it is compact.

The function of closed interval is less than or equal to -∞≤ A ≤ +∞.

It is a real point on the number axis.

The complement set of a closed interval is the union set of two open intervals.

There is a famous closed interval set theorem in real number theory, see mathematical analysis for details.

Representative symbol: a number between 3 (inclusive) and 5 (inclusive).
