On the morning of June 8, the examination center of the Ministry of Education responded to the reporter that the examination center had instructed Hubei Education Examinations Institute to seriously investigate and deal with it according to the Measures for Handling Violations of National Education Examinations. Effectively safeguard the fairness and justice of the college entrance examination.
The math problem of the college entrance examination was uploaded by the examinee's photo or blocked by 5G signal 1 Wuhan Huangpi Admissions Office responded to the examinee's mobile phone uploading the college entrance examination question:
Or because of the 5G signal shielding vulnerability.
On June 8 10, a staff member of the office of the Higher Education Examinations Institute of Hubei Education Examinations Institute told the reporter that the incident had been handled overnight. At present, the cheating behavior of the students involved has been identified, and the students have admitted their cheating behavior and are now doing follow-up treatment.
The reporter learned that the student was a middle school student in huangpi district, Wuhan, and now the student has admitted his mistake.
Earlier, a staff member of the College Admissions Examination Office of Wuhan Admissions Examination Office said in an interview that they had noticed the public opinion and were currently investigating and handling it based on the investigation facts.
On June 7, the first day of the college entrance examination, some netizens broke the news that in the afternoon math examination room, some candidates were suspected to have uploaded a photo of a new national college entrance examination math volume 202 1 to Xiaoyan search APP, which was reported by the staff of Xiaoyan search APP.
The screenshot of the network transmission shows that the name and seat number of the candidate Wu Moumou appear in the upper left corner of the uploaded screenshot of the math test paper. The upper limit display time is 202 1 June 7 15: 46, and there are still1hour 14 minutes before the end of the college entrance examination.
The reporter noted that according to Article 5 of the Decision of the Ministry of Education on Amending the Measures for Handling Violations in National Education Examinations dated 20 12 1 0.5, depending on the seriousness of the case, candidates may be suspended from the examination for1to 3 years. If the circumstances are particularly serious, you can also suspend taking various national education examinations 1 to 3 years: (1) organizing gangs to cheat; (2) Sending or transmitting examination information outside the examination room; (3) Cheating by using relevant equipment to receive information; (4) Forging or altering identification cards, admission tickets and other supporting materials to take the exam instead of others or candidates.
Ministry of Education Examination Center responded
On the morning of June 8, the examination center of the Ministry of Education responded to the reporter that the examination center had instructed Hubei Education Examinations Institute to seriously investigate and deal with it according to the Measures for Handling Violations of National Education Examinations, and earnestly safeguard the fairness and justice of the college entrance examination.
Education bureau responded
According to the introduction of huangpi district Education Bureau, on the evening of June 7th, the examination area organized a video playback of the examination room, which confirmed the fact that examinee Wu entered the examination room illegally and photographed the examination paper with his mobile phone, and the invigilators had problems of admission safety and dereliction of duty. According to the current investigation, the invigilator's college entrance examination qualification has been suspended, and the dereliction of duty of relevant personnel will be further investigated and punished by the district discipline inspection and supervision organs. According to Article 9 of the Measures for Handling Violations in National Education Examinations (Order No.33 of the Ministry of Education), candidates who violate the rules will be disqualified from this examination, and their scores in all stages and subjects will be invalid, and further treatment will be made according to the follow-up investigation results.
Math problems in the college entrance examination were uploaded by candidates' photos or blocked by 5G signals. Why is there a loophole in 5G signal shielding?
As we all know, in some special cases, it is necessary to shield the cell phone signal to prevent leakage or cheating. For example, in some confidential meetings, mobile phones are not allowed, and mobile phone signals are blocked when they arrive.
The most typical of these special scenes is the college entrance examination room-
The college entrance examination is almost one of the most important things in China's life, and ensuring its fairness has become an important task for local education bureaus. In order to ensure fairness, the college entrance examination room will take various anti-cheating measures, such as metal detectors, examiner checks, fingerprint unlocking and so on. The most common is signal shielding.
Now all kinds of electronic devices emerge one after another. Some candidates who are disguised and can even avoid detection will export their questions to the outside world by bringing electronic equipment into the examination room, and then people outside the examination room will help them answer them, thus achieving the purpose of cheating. The basis of all this is that it must be spread through the network!
In this case, signal shielding is particularly important. How does signal shielding work?
Simply put, taking mobile phones as an example, mobile phones need to communicate with other equipment outside the examination room through signal towers, and wireless communication needs electromagnetic waves to carry it. According to the characteristics of electromagnetic waves, the devices on both sides need to transmit and receive in a certain frequency range, so signal shielding is to affect the frequency of your electronic equipment, so that the frequencies on both sides are different, thus achieving the shielding effect.
This principle is simple and easy to operate. Then why do candidates upload exam questions to search for answers? Is it a 5G pot?
In my opinion, the problem is that the staff in the examination room, especially the staff responsible for signal shielding, are too hidebound!
Generally speaking, the shielding equipment in the examination room shields the mobile phone by interfering with the mobile phone signal in the specified frequency band. Previously, the spectrum of mainstream network 4G was generally between 1700MHz and 2600MHz. For example, China Mobile's 4G is mainly in two frequency bands: 2320-2370 MHz and 2575-2635 MHz. China Telecom is at 1755- 1785 MHz, 1850- 1880 MHz, and China Unicom is at 1955- 1980 MHz, 21.
The examination room only needs to electronically interfere with the above frequency bands, and the mobile phone 4G network cannot be connected, thus achieving the function of shielding signals.
However, the problem is that the frequency band of the 5G network is relatively high, and the staff who stick to the rules are likely to forget the new thing of 5G, resulting in the 5G signal not being blocked.
For example, China Mobile's 5G is mainly deployed in the 25 15~26 15MHz band, China Telecom's 5G is deployed in the 3400MHz-3500MHz band, and China Unicom is deployed in the 3500MHz-3600MHz band. As the 5G frequency bands of China Telecom and China Unicom are continuous, the two companies have clearly established * * * to enjoy the 5G wireless access network based on the continuous 200MHz bandwidth of 3400MHz-3600MHz.
Judging from the distribution of the above frequency bands, I even have reason to suspect that cheating candidates may have used the number cards of China Telecom or China Unicom. After all, China Mobile's 5G band is closer to 4G band, so the possibility of being missed is not too high, while China Telecom and China Unicom's 5G band is much higher than the mainstream band of 4G in the past, so there is indeed the possibility of being missed.
So this matter itself may be very serious, but from a technical point of view, there is no fatal loophole, just human negligence, ignoring the popularity of 5G and forgetting to add the 5G frequency band to the designated frequency band of the electronic jammer.
