Starting from 1 and 20 17, Meizhou junior high school graduates' academic examination (referred to as "senior high school entrance examination") will use the unified proposition papers of the whole province. 20 16 candidates' biogeography is still included in the total score.

After using the unified proposition test paper in the whole province, the length of Chinese test is 120 minutes, mathematics and English are 100 minutes (including English listening test is about 15 minutes), physics, chemistry, ideology and morality are 80 minutes each, and history, geography and biology are 50 minutes each. Geography and biology are implemented in accordance with the Guangdong Province 20 16 Junior High School Graduates Geography and Biological Science Examination Outline, and the other seven subjects are implemented in accordance with the Guangdong Province 20 17 Junior High School Graduates Academic Examination Outline.

After adjustment, nine subjects will be tested in two stages, in which geography and biology will be tested on the morning of June 20th, 20 17, and the other seven subjects will be tested on the afternoon of June 20th+22nd, 20 17. This means that senior two students will take the senior high school entrance examination in geography and biology on June 20th this year.
