Simplified ratio

1, integer ratio: find the greatest common factor of the former and the latter, and then divide by the former and the latter respectively.

For example: 50:100 = (50/50): (100/50) =1:2.

2. Decimal ratio: enlarge the decimal by the same multiple at the same time, so that the former and the latter are integers, and then use the first method.

For example: 0.9: 0.3 = (0.9×10): (0.3×10) = 9: 3 = (9 ÷ 3): (3 ÷ 3) = 3:1.

3. Fraction ratio: Find the least common multiple, and multiply the first and last items by the least common multiple to make it an integer.

For example:1/3:1/9 = (1/3× 9): (1/9× 9) = 3:1.

4. Mixing ratio: unified into one of 1, 2, 3, and then calculated by the above method.

Find the ratio

According to the basic concept of ratio, the ratio can be decimal, integer or fraction.

Decimal, integer is: the quotient obtained by dividing the former term by the latter term is called the ratio.

If it is an exam, don't forget it. Tired and wasting time. Just simplify the comparison first, and then take the former item as the numerator, the latter item as the denominator, and the comparison number as the fractional line.

For example: 50:100 = (50 ÷ 50): (100 ÷ 50) =1:2 =1/2 (half).
