Why did you choose Royal Cambridge? Is international high school really good?
I studied in Pudong Campus, Cambridge, Shanghai. The school's curriculum system used to be only IGCSE and A-level, but recently North Carolina was added. You can meet teachers who graduated from top universities here. Most of our teachers have brought students from Oxford and Cambridge. But (emphasis), most of the courses in the school are science, and only economics and business are slightly liberal arts. There are no music classes, no good art teachers, and no teachers who can teach literature, so please think twice about applying for liberal arts. The upper class of the school does not attach importance to the physical beauty and labor of students. There is no point in physical education class not giving points, and teachers will not guide students to do actions. Usually, students exercise by themselves. The club exists in name only, and the school itself does not organize campus activities (ps: even if it does, no teacher can help). The school doesn't even organize off-campus activities (university examiners pay more and more attention to off-campus activities), and it will provide some summer activities at most a year; But most of the activities are not helpful for applying for a university. There is no connection between the school and foreign countries, so it is very difficult for students to apply for summer school themselves.

Finally, for students who want to apply for liberal arts majors or apply for the direction of the United States, please think carefully. The resources required to apply for American schools are huge. SAT and SAT2 schools have no courses, and the 65,438+00 activities and rewards (more people actually apply) required for American applications can't provide you with these conditions.

For those students who are interested in other directions in the United States and are willing to take A-level courses:

Schools may exaggerate how many people enter the top 50 schools and how many students enter Oxford and Cambridge every year. But! In fact, most of the freshmen enrolled every year are students with weak learning ability, and the rest are students who are poached by the upper level at the expense of subsidies, or students who are fooled by information asymmetry. Then those students with weak academic ability will go abroad to study in the preparatory course at A/KLOC-0 or even earlier because they find that their grades can't be applied to a good university (ps: I even suspect that the school recruits these students just to collect a wave of money). This is why a large proportion of universities will eventually be admitted to top50 in the name of the school. The rest of the students need to find resources on their own, otherwise they can't stand out among the students. Here, students from Oxford and Cambridge are studying outside and looking for intermediaries to attend summer schools and training camps in Niu Jian. So don't imagine how much help the resources provided by the school can give you.

But as I said before, there is no doubt about the quality of teachers here. If you study hard, you will benefit a lot. Although the conditions here are somewhat harsh compared with other international schools, it is precisely because of this intolerant attitude that some students' inexplicable sense of superiority has faded. It also helps all students who enter Shanghai Cambridge to be admitted to their ideal universities.
