Hubei college entrance examination adopts "3+X" college entrance examination scheme.

"3" means "Chinese, Mathematics and Foreign Languages", and "X" means that students can choose an examination subject independently from the two comprehensive subjects of liberal arts (politics, history and geography) and science (physics, chemistry and biology) according to their own wishes. This scheme is the most widely used and mature college entrance examination scheme in China. The total score is 750 (language 150, mathematics 150, foreign language 150, liberal arts/science 300).

Specific examination time:

June 7th (morning) 09: 00-1:30 Chinese (afternoon) 15:00- 17:00 Mathematics (liberal arts mathematics or science mathematics).

June 8th (morning) 09: 00-1:30 (afternoon) 15:00- 17:00 foreign languages.
