Boris pavlovic Jimidovich 1906 was born in a teacher's family. 1923, Jimidovich entered the Department of Physics and Mathematics of Belarusian State University. 1927 After graduation, he was recommended to enter the Department of Advanced Mathematics for postgraduate study. Jimidovich taught mathematics in middle schools in Smolensk and Bryansk for four years.
