How to be an excellent primary school math teacher
Our school requires teachers to read a book about education every semester. Originally, I didn't like reading. In the bookstore, I accidentally turned to Teacher Fan's book "Seven Necessary Things for an Excellent Primary School Math Teacher". I just looked through it casually, but the content in it slowly attracted me, and he became my best friend from then on. Seven things mentioned by Teacher Fan Li Cun, 1, how much elementary school math teachers know about students; 2. What kind of mathematics should primary school students learn? 3. How to create a good mathematics learning environment; 4. How to make the math class have a strong math atmosphere; 5. How to optimize the teaching design of primary school mathematics: 6. How to teach mathematics; 7. How to carry out mathematical practice activities in primary schools? In each part of the narrative, combined with specific cases, it is demonstrated in a simple way. Of these seven things, I am more concerned about the sixth. As we know, after the teaching purpose and content are determined, the teaching method becomes the key to realize the teaching purpose and complete the teaching content. Because the teaching method is the main means to transform the knowledge structure of teaching materials into the cognitive structure in students' minds, cultivate students' ability, develop their intelligence, cultivate their learning attitude, will and emotion, and carry out ideological and moral education. As a foreign educator pointed out: "Choosing the most effective teaching method for a certain class is one of the core issues of teaching process optimization."

Both theory and practice tell us that in order to give full play to the actual effectiveness of various teaching methods in the teaching process and achieve the purpose of optimizing the teaching process, we must first work hard on the optimization of teaching methods or the optimization design of teaching methods. The former refers to the rational choice of existing teaching methods, while the latter refers to the creation of new teaching methods. Whether it is "optimization" or "innovation", we should generally pay attention to the following four points: First, the choice or innovation of teaching methods must conform to the teaching laws and principles; Second, according to the teaching content and characteristics, to ensure the completion of teaching tasks; Thirdly, it must conform to students' age, psychological change characteristics and teachers' own teaching style; Fourth, it must conform to the existing teaching conditions and the prescribed teaching time.

Thanks to this book, I understand that teachers should not only stimulate students' interest in learning, activate students' thinking, but also choose teaching methods reasonably. To be an excellent math teacher is inseparable from continuous classroom teaching practice. I will dare to explore in the future teaching and become an excellent math teacher.
