CSSCI
The Chinese Social Science Citation Index successfully developed by Nanjing University is a key project of the State and the Ministry of Education. CSSCI follows the law of bibliometrics, adopts the method of combining quantitative and qualitative evaluation, and selects journals with strong academic and standardized editing from more than 2,700 Chinese academic journals of humanities and social sciences as source journals. The 9-year data of CSSCI (1998-2006) has been developed, with nearly 630,000 sources and 4.09 million citations. The achievements of this project have filled the blank of social science citation index in China and reached the leading level in China.

Founded in 1989, China Science Citation Database contains more than 1000 Chinese and English scientific core journals and excellent journals published in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, astronomy, geoscience, biology, agriculture and forestry, medicine and health, engineering technology, environmental science and management science.
