First: the foundation of grade one is very poor, which leads children to learn more difficult knowledge in grade two, so their grades are getting worse and worse! The knowledge of junior high school for three years is easy first and then difficult. Grade three is more difficult than grade two, and grade two is more difficult than grade one. Therefore, if a child doesn't understand a lot of knowledge in grade one, it will be particularly difficult for her to learn more difficult knowledge in grade two. When the teacher lectures, he can't understand or can only understand part of it because of the fault of the knowledge he has learned before. For example, the second grade mathematics uses the conceptual formulas and laws of the first grade, but these poor students in the first grade are not in place. Therefore, it is difficult for them to understand the teacher's lecture in class. When they get home, they can't do many homework problems, so they can only get 50 or 60 points in the exam. The picture below is a conversation between me and junior high school students, which is about the consequences of not understanding the teacher's lecture.
The second point: children study hard, but their grades are poor because of their poor ability to accept knowledge and learn. There is no denying that there is still a certain gap between people's understanding ability and acceptance ability. Some children can understand the same knowledge after a teacher talks about it once, and some children can't understand it after a few times. Therefore, in the face of such children, parents can't force them to learn, but let them learn what they like. Some children's hands-on ability is stronger than their brains, so parents should cultivate their children's other specialties, such as painting, art, music, sports and other hobbies. They can also help their children learn a favorite technology after graduating from junior high school, such as auto repair, electrician and welder, machining, cooking, fashion design and so on.
The third point: poor learning initiative, no attention to learning at all, leading to poor grades of children. Not studying hard is the main reason for many junior high school students' poor grades. Parents can analyze this by combining their children's grades, such as reciting the original texts of geography, biology, history and Chinese, and looking up English words. Parents can find that these poor junior high school students have no memorization at all, so they can only get 40 to 50 points in the geography and biology history exam, and they never recite words in English, so they can only get 30 to 40 points in the exam. This shows that children's minds are not on their studies, so what are they busy with? They either play games or chase TV series, or compete with their classmates to wear famous brands, or idolize and care about celebrity gossip and so on. The biggest problem is indulging in games and not studying. For example, the junior high school student who plays games leads to worse grades every year.
Therefore, for such junior high school students, the first thing parents should do is to correct their children's learning attitude, let them concentrate on their studies, limit their time to play mobile phones and watch TV, and gradually let them calm down and concentrate on their studies to improve their grades, as shown in the figure below.
Fourth: Start making study plans for all subjects with poor grades and find teachers to solve problems. The four courses of politics, geography, biology and history of liberal arts make it easy for children to start reciting knowledge points. For example, I have a student who didn't do well in geography, biology, history and politics before, and only got forty or fifty points in the exam. After the child began to recite, his score increased to more than 80 points, among which math and English were the most worrying. Parents need to let their children find out the knowledge they don't know, then register it in the puzzle book and find an experienced teacher to help them make up for these missing knowledge. At the same time, we should tell our children that as a junior high school student, we must set a goal for the senior high school entrance examination, that is, we should raise all subjects to above 80 points in the second year of junior high school. Only in this way can we be admitted to senior high school when we enter the third year. The details are as follows.
The above four points are the main reasons for the poor grades of junior high school students. At the same time, many primary school students and high school students will have such problems, so parents should solve them one by one. Only in this way can their children successfully counterattack. At the same time, the second day of junior high school is a watershed. If the grade of the second grade catches up, the child will be admitted to high school. If you can't catch up with the second grade, it will be too late to wait until the third grade.
