Chinese college students' mathematics competition began in 2009. The first competition was hosted by chinese mathematical society and hosted by National University of Defense Technology.
As a national high-level discipline competition for undergraduates, the National Undergraduate Mathematics Competition provides a stage for young students to display their basic mathematical skills and mathematical thinking, and plays a positive role in discovering and selecting outstanding mathematical talents and promoting the reform and development of basic mathematics courses in colleges and universities.
Since then, the national competition has been held once a year, which is generally hosted by different universities every year.
In 2020, there will be 32 national divisions and 897 participating schools, with more than 200,000 participants.
In the end, more than 70,000 students won the first, second and third prizes, accounting for about 34%.
In the domestic discipline competition, there are so many participating universities with great influence (all the first-class universities in China participate) that no one can match, and it has become the largest discipline competition in China.
