What is the difference between insurance research and postgraduate entrance examination?
The biggest difference between postgraduate entrance examination and insurance research is that candidates who take the insurance research can be exempted from the initial qualification and can directly participate in the re-examination. From the formal point of view, there are differences between postgraduate entrance examination and postgraduate entrance examination in preparation time, preparation period, preparation content, candidate qualification and school recognition.

The differences are reflected in the following aspects:

First, candidates who apply for graduate students do not need to take the preliminary examination.

Candidates who apply for graduate students are also called exam-free graduate students, generally referring to a certain proportion of outstanding students selected by colleges and universities. They don't need to take the initial exam for postgraduate entrance examination, but can take the second exam for the target university directly. If you pass the second interview, you can directly obtain the qualification for postgraduate entrance examination. Generally speaking, there are two steps to guarantee research, one is to obtain the exemption qualification of undergraduate schools, and the other is that the target universities are willing to accept it.

There are three ways to obtain the exemption qualification of the target university: ① the summer camp of the target university for postgraduate entrance examination, ② the pre-exemption, and ③ the formal exemption of the exemption service system.

Second, the preparation time for insurance research and postgraduate entrance examination is different.

Insurance research is generally conducted at the beginning of the first semester of senior year. Generally speaking, whether you can apply for graduate students depends on your grades in the first three years of college, which requires candidates to be always excellent in the first three years of college and rank in the forefront of their majors (different schools have different requirements, and the highest exemption rate is 50%, followed by 15%, 5% and 2%). So graduate students need to start preparing at the beginning of their freshman year. Postgraduate entrance examination is generally prepared in the next semester of junior year or the last semester of senior year.

Third, the preparation content of insurance research and postgraduate entrance examination is different.

Graduate students must maintain excellent grades in the first three years of college, so they need to be prepared for every course during college. There are only four exam subjects in the postgraduate entrance examination. Candidates are mostly math, English, politics and professional courses.

Fourth, candidates have different qualifications.

There are a certain number of exemption places for research and development, which are limited. Only by meeting the requirements of the school can we obtain the qualification of insurance research. However, the number of postgraduate places is unlimited. As long as it meets the national requirements, you can register for postgraduate study and obtain postgraduate qualifications, and the number of postgraduate students is not limited.

Fifth, schools have different recognition of candidates.

Generally speaking, students who can apply for graduate students have excellent overall performance and good professional quality, and the school has a high degree of recognition for students who apply for graduate students. And some students who take the postgraduate entrance examination may just have achieved excellent results in the postgraduate entrance examination, but their professional foundation is not necessarily strong. Therefore, the proportion of exemption from exams in colleges and universities is increasing, and the proportion of full-time exemption students in many schools has exceeded 50%.
