The national "II" paper is adopted in the college entrance examination in this area, and the selected subjects are independently proposed by Liaoning Province.

In the new college entrance examination reform since 20021,the subjects of Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages in Liaoning Province adopted the national "II" volume of the new college entrance examination, and these subjects were put forward by the examination center of the Ministry of Education in a unified way, while the subjects of physics, history, chemistry, biology, ideological politics and geography were put forward independently by Liaoning Province, which means that the college entrance examination papers in Liaoning Province adopted two forms: national unified proposition and local independent proposition.
