Huzhou City continues to implement the junior high school academic proficiency test, which includes six subjects: Chinese, mathematics, English, science, society, rule of law (including history and society, morality and rule of law) and physical education, including Chinese 120, mathematics 120, English 100 (including listening 20) and science.

Junior high school academic level examination mainly measures the degree to which students meet the learning requirements stipulated by the state, taking into account the needs of students' graduation and further studies.
