Generally speaking, there is no entrance examination in Wroclaw University of Technology. The admission criteria of Polish freshmen mainly depend on their high school graduation grades, and only the architecture department needs students to take additional free painting exams. Students are managed by the major department chosen at the time of admission, and the courses are divided into compulsory courses and elective courses. Compulsory courses generally include mathematics, physics, computer, foreign languages, sociology, management and so on. ) and specialized courses. Students are also required to take enough courses. Industrial practice and production operation are organized in a unified way outside independent courses. Students are free to choose courses and majors.

Foreign students will get extra guidance from academic tutors in their studies. Class time is 26 hours per week. The scoring standard is 2-5 points: 5 points means very good and excellent; 4.5 points means better; 4 points means good; 3.5 points represents medium; 3 points means passing; Two points means failure. Starting from 1999, the Institute of Technology began to use the European Unified Credit Transfer System (ECTS) to enable students to obtain credits recognized by Poland and foreign countries. In addition, most departments of universities have joined the Socrates/Erasmus exchange program system of the European Union, so it is easier for students to transfer to famous universities in other EU countries through these exchange courses in the last year.

Educational system:

Master of Science 5-year course+1 year Polish or English required course.

Bachelor of Science 4-year course+one-year required course in Polish or English.

Master of Science M.Sc (bachelor's degree) 1 or 2 years optional English and Polish teaching.

Doctor (Master of Science) can teach English, German, French and Polish for 4 years.

Note: Universities also offer 3.5-4 years of amateur bachelor's degree courses, postgraduate courses for masters and engineers (0.5- 1.5 years), and non-degree (specialist) courses in most departments (0.5-2 years). Polish is taught in the foreign language teaching center for one year, and students can go to polytechnic or other Polish universities for further study after passing the Polish final exam.

School year:

School starts in June 1 every year and ends on September 30th. It is divided into two semesters: winter (65438+1early October-65438+1end of October) and summer (mid-February-end of May). The final exam will be held in February and June.
